$3.49 (£2.16) for code from Amazon US
£4.49 on UK Playstation Store.

This code is for American Playstation Store, but a lot of people don't realise that PS3 consoles are not region locked with their content.

To play this game on a UK PS3 you just buy this code, go to Users tab on the XMB, create a new user, then sign up for an american PSN account on that new user. You can then get all the american content (most of which comes out before the UK).

It's out of stock just now, i guess they had a huge demand for it.

Help! I loved the demo! lol
Thinking of using a website that works as a proxy but worried if I should be doing an online transaction with it.

Strange, it worked earlier when i purchased it, but now it's giving that geographical restriction error.

Done a quick search about using a web proxy and not totally comfortable using one - suggestions?

Update(not sure this itself is worth a new thread all together but anyway):
Turns out a few other games (including some on the PSP) as well as Critter Crunch have been reduced by 50% on the US PSN Store.
(Prices in GBP were converted on xe.com at time of updating post)

One theoretical way to get around this restriction from Amazon and US PSN (think there is one in place) would be to buy a $20/+ network card, add the funds by voucher code (if unable on your US PSN account - PAL console then try via Media Go!) and then buy (and subsequently download) directly from US PSN store on your PS3 (Again the alternative can also be to buy via Media Go!).

Question is, does anyone know where to buy a cheap $20 PSN network card other than Ebay?
Furthermore would this possibly break any T&C on one's PSN account?

DISCLAIMER:
The above method is a theoretical suggestion!
I myself have yet to try to confirm, for you the reader to attempt doing so you are also aware and take full responsibility of any consequences that may occur.

PS: Those wondering why this update was done at 4:30AM... I can't sleep! ...$%&£!
PSS: Why the hell doesn't the EU PSN get an awesome weekly update like this one!? Jeez...

The US store has always had better offers then the EU store. Remember when they gave away Rag Doll Kung Fu some months ago?

Braid is a great game, and for this price everyone should own it (assuming that this is available to buy in the UK using this method). I'd avoid Battle Tanks - its a good looking multiplayer game, but the controls are too difficult for most people. Stick to Wii Play's Tanks if you have it.

Gravity Crash is great fun particularly to anyone 30+ who used to play the old Speccys , Commodores , Amstrads etc .

My theory worked!

Bought a $20 network card on Ebay (~£15) then typed the voucher code onto my US account on the PS3 - funds added and just bought Critter Crunch!
Furthermore I have another $16+ to spend on the other games that are on sale!

Word of warning though, US PSN add tax when making a purchase of any game, Critter Crunch ultimately cost $3.80 - not that it should matter seeing as in the end you'll end up spending a maximum of whatever you paid for a PSN card (in my case £14.95).

Have yet to check whether I can run the game when switching back to my UK account (trophies after all - then again I guess one can seeing as it's kind of like gamesharing...) so I will update this post as soon as.

The last part shouldn't be a problem. I can play my UK PSN gmes on the US account, and vice versa. Trophies and all.

I have a PSP, PSPgo and PS3 !

Prinny is £31.99 on the UK store but only $19.99 on the US store...

Think i might do as you suggest...

What seller did you use on ebay ?

I have PM'd you the Ebay seller which I bought a $20 US PSN Card from because I'm not sure whether I should be directly linking Ebay on threads.

To anyone else interested simply search "$20 PSN Card" or something along the lines of that on Ebay.COM and you'll find quite a few sellers who would e-mail you the code rather than physically send the card out.

Like I mentioned before the US PSN adds tax when you proceed to checkout on the PSN store so in bright_spk's case a $20 PSN Card may not be sufficient for his/her purchase.

Scar

I've now bought some content, no sales tax added....!

Perhaps its where you've said you live in the US.

I'm in beverly hills 90210..!
