I think this is about the cheapest for a bicycle workstand
"Functional and sturdy bike repair stand
Centre post with variable height adjustment for working heights from approx. (cm): 107 - 188
With 4 legs for stability – can also be anchored to the floor
Clamp fits all standard frame diameters from approx. (mm) 25 - 40
Quick-release for easy set-up – folds for space-saving storage
Also suitable for e-bikes
Dimensions (assembled): approx. (cm): 198 x 104
Three year warranty"
Should be available instore from Sunday 26th
If anyone does want one of these then I suggest they get to their local store as early as possible on Sunday. Usually these sort of things run out quite fast.

Got one years ago, well worth the money.
Is this he same one that's usually £15 towards the end of the specials?
If you are serious about cycling you need one of these. Used mine today just to clean and oil up the bike.
nice. I've been waiting for that

Interesting, five legs instead of four!
Slightly different
A Telescopic arm that secures the handlebar for front wheel repairs should be useful
And a magnetic tool tray!
May be stronger?
And includes free delivery.
May be worth the extra money

The last photo on the LIDL site shows a similar telescopic arm... Anyone know if it comes with / without this? Plus there's the £5 off £30 spend voucher for LIDL, which based on a £30 spend and by form of ratio, would put this at approximately £20.83.
I got one 2 years ago when they were £20, Used it once and found it moved to much when doing fiddly jobs, now do repairs the good old way with the bike on the deck.

sold out online, instore only
my guess would be they just don't fancy the postage costs!

where do you get this £5 off a £30 spend to then?

>>£5 off a £30.00 spend in Lidl - in Spring magazine ?

So that the flyer in store i take it then?
So which is better. This or the aldi one?
Just picked up the £29.99 from Aldi; built like a tank and 3 year warranty... Pretty impressed!
Had one of these a couple of years now. No brainer if you do any amount of cycling and like to do your own maintenance. Erects quickly and holds the bike firmly.
What the maximum load capacity of this, and which one is more weighty. As i find that generally makes it more stable.
Bought one of these last year around this time...haven't opened the box yet! Another 'I want one of these' rather than 'I need one of these' purchases thanks to HUKD

It's standing in the corner of the garage next to the motorbike paddock stand I bought shortly afterwards, also still in the box.

I guess I'm no different from a sizeable percentage of other HUKD bods?

I'm glad you aren't helping my children with their primary school maths homework.

Oh dear. Trying to come across all high and mighty and completely missing the maths yourself! This item costs £25. In order to quality for the £5 off you would need to spend £30, which gives you a 16.6% (5/30) reduction.

Therefore £25 x (1-0.1666) = £20.83

(hope you don't offer to help your kids out either! :p)

Picked one up this afternoon. Seems sturdy enough. There were plenty available in Burdett Road, London.
Can anyone else confirm if the £5 off a £30 is in the spring magazine then?
Saw these last year in Aldi when they discounted to clear for £15. Didn't buy one and regretted it.
I'll buy whichever is discounted first. Knowing my luck they'll both be gone and I'll have to wait until summer for more bike stuff to go on sale.

I'm assuming the Aldi one is better. The box looked bigger for the Lidl one though.
