@Dogleg909 Are you going to get one? I am seriously contemplating it. I wanted the Instant Pot though.
I just bought one I also wanted the Instant Pot, but at this price its worth a gamble. Crock-Pot is a decent brand.

Crock-pot is a more revered brand, the argos one is 900W, this is 1000W, that is 5L capacity, this is 5.6L. I think this is more than worth the extra fiver

They are the same type of product. Same functions really. Both can pressure cook, slow cook, sauté and steam. It's just a matter of preference. Crock-pot is a good and established brand. The crock-pot one is also slightly larger at 5.6L. I'd go for the Crock-pot one out of both and from Amazon. Better customer service than Argos.
I've succumbed and bought one. I hope it's ok. I've read reviews on Amazon.com that the non-stick coating doesn't last long. Keep your receipts.
Thank u guys for all the info

I've not used one before. If you look on the Crock pot USA site, you can get the recipe manual for it. Or use recipes for the Instant Pot. Should be similar. There will be loads on Google and probably their Facebook page.
Well I cooked the Thai green curry from the recipe book and in was amazing! Just need a list of other recipes now.

That’s great. I’ve not used mine yet. Not sure what to cook. I might do chilli con carne. Here’s the link to the USA recipe book. It’s different to the one that we get in the UK. crockpot recipes usa How long did it take to reach pressure before the cooking started please? Did you take note?
