Bought one slightly cheaper last year, used once, another dust gatherer in my kitchen!

The product itself seems fine, just don't see the point in it personally.

Currently half napping on the sofa at 4pm whilst the slow cooker is heating the chilli for dinner 🌶
Only got 4 out of 5 stars rating.

Isnt a pressure cooker better, wouldnt be without mine.

Unless your going to out and want something hot when you come in i dont see the point of this and could cause fire hazard, not a good idea to have electrical things on when your not in the house.

4.7 star out of 5 stars - averaged from 1170 ratings on Tesco - not good enough still?
Nope im afraid not. Not everyone takes the time to leave feedback. Think of all thoes who just returned or binned it without leaving neg feedback. I sell on Amazon and Ebay so know about ratings.

People are busy nowadays and some simply dont have time. Esp if you have kids.

Id rather pay a few quid more for a better product.

Take your point there on people being busy/not bothering with reviews/ratings - but how else do you decide if a product is good or not? Dont all manufacturers claim their product is the best thing that happened to mankind?
You look at the percentage of 1 stars compaired to 5 stars and buy a known brand that you like and free returns etc etc or your taking a bigger risk.

Samsung used to be better than it is for example so we are taking a gamble even with known brands. Is it a race to the bottom.

I guess “doh” indicates I’m dumb?

Well sticking a £14 quid device on for 8 hours (or potentially more given I don’t work normal hours some days) sounds a bit stupid to me mate

In all seriousness, it’s a waste of money for me, may suit others.
Got one of these yesterday and made a beef stroganoff following this recipe http://
