I’ve done exactly the same. Bought a pair of size 5s which is her usual size and she can’t even get her feet through the opening .
They are very light!!- I’ve had these before , the white hole ring used to rub against my ankles when I walked had to double up on socks. I binned them in the end wasn’t worth the pain tbh wouldn’t buy again

On a side note, they added to basket at, and I paid £9.99 (blue size 5)I hope you wife is a size 3 or 4, if she's a size 5 they will never fit. I guess that's why the price keeps coming down cos they're selling all the returns off. My size 5 for the wife went back today.
It's saying delivery by end of January earliest. Is that correct? Wondering if they've run out and this is a restock that may never happen- I had to return these as I could not get my feet in. Very skinny!
