Different offer on Delux, 2 for £22... diy.com/sea…r22

Was going to say that's really annoying as I bought 3 tubs last week - but it was 3 for £30, which isn't much more. Better if you need one though.

I've noticed a couple of times now they run the 3 for £30 and then immediately or very shortly after that finishes sell the pots individually for between £8 - £9.

Much difference in quality between this and Dulux paint?

Not the best paint, bit watery. We had some, after 3 coats it literally wiped off. Attacked it with Dulux and problem sorted

Yes, lots. With crown you'd be better off painting milk on your walls.

Brilliant need lots of antique cream for the halls. Perfect!

And Crown paint used to be just as good, if not better than Dulux. Yet another brand name bought and remarketed to unsuspecting customers with inferior quality materials i shouldnt wonder.

I've used both and there's barely any difference. It probably depends on the colour you use etc because it's been fine for me.

crown is fine...happy at 9 quid

I've recently painted my living room in Crown breatheasy matt emulsion and it certainly didn't seem watery to me. It covered well, two coats and it's fine. I've even wiped it in a few places and it was ok. It isn't marketed as a waterproof/wipeable paint so it shouldn't be attacked with a soaking wet cloth and expect it to stay on. That said neither does standard dulux and that will wipe off the same. If you want a durable/waterproof paint then you have to buy one that specifies such!

Picked up some yesterday from B&Q Enfield they where also having a re-fit of there paint department, so clearing a lot of older stock for newer lines.

ends sunday though if i remeber correctly????
