Just a word of warning with companies like Crown, unregulated companies, if they get into financial trouble you will more then likely lose your money.
Saying that they have a good track record with many happy cutomers.
Make your own choice but the few extra Euro's or Dollars are not enough to attract me.
A year old but a news article about them here. investorschronicle.co.uk/Col…jsp

The article mentioned above, is a clear warning that what Could happen to your money.
SO they take your money NOW and then send it to you later at a rate of exchange that they are more or less certain will lose money on??
If it sounds to good to be true.....................

asters

Fair comment although I have used them a number of times without problems. Weird that business like this isn't regulated.

I have used this company on more than a dozen occasions over the past 2 years and they have never let me down. But they are unregulated and openly stated that to me. Anything could happen between paying and delivery date. That said, they seem to have a business model that works as they have been around a while now and I will continue to use them. Coincidently, I have a delivery tomorrow and one on 27th as I'm off to Italy.

Thay are apparently pretty good.

That said I normally use Travelex - they will match any exchange rate including Crown and ThomasExchange, the added advantage being that for speed etc you can pick the currency up at the airport before leaving. Did that last time and also got Quidco on top - got about £150 back in total from my transaction.
good deal though.

Hope everyone got their money. Looks increasingly like they went belly up this week. I have been warning about them for at least 2 years, always felt it was a matter of when not if. 100's if not 1000's of people will lose out if the rumours are true.
