Probably- I’d still clean it the same as any other toilet seat although I might be full of
What is mean antibacterial? bacteria avoid this toilet seat, go for next door neighbour toilet seat.
Antibacterial materials are definitely a thing and used in medical devices and lab equipment. The antibacterial mechanism varies but some use a coating of silver or copper ions which interfere with the cells chemistry. Antibacterial doesn't mean self-cleaning so they only really work when in direct contact with the bacteria, a bit like UV lamps or Alcohol gel only work effectively on already clean surfaces, they don't wash them.
Presumably named after the town of Croydon, which is also a toilet
