For all those lovely people out there who dont know how to clone your hard drive please GOTO crucials website and follow instructions. You can ask get Acronis cloning software from seagates or western digital site for free. Seagate it is called the seagate disc wizard. Just follow a few instructions also on YouTube and you are good to go. My recommendations would be is to do a fresh install of Microsoft windows on your new SSD to avoid any problems. This is what I did and than make a clone of your SSD to avoid any future problems. Seagates disc wizard is powered by Acronis cloning/backup/restore/disc cleaner.

Thank you for all the heat added.

47.98 perhaps?

Hmm how fast is it? Drive I mean
Worth buying?

Price appears incorrect, should it not be £47.98?

Palwan

47.98 perhaps?

it's pre VAT price that has the £10 deducted.

You may want to edit the title so that people know that's its 120GB drive.
Edited by: "Asura" 9th Feb 2014

I bought a drive & it appears that the £10 is taken off the ex vat price. So £45.98 is correct.

£88.99 seems pretty good for the 240GB model too!

Heat added.

Nice to see that Crucial isn't charging extra for the mSATA models. Heat given.

The price is good by doing the survey but they don't seem the fastest SSD around.

Possible 7% quidco

How long does the email take with the code? Filled it out 10 mins ago but nowt yet.

Very handy as I was planning on buying a 480GB mSATA from them tomorrow

7% only on other items. SSD gets just over 2%.

D'oh, Quidco. For some reason I paid no attention whatsoever to the details. I don't use Quidco, it was Topcashback I was quoting. If you use both them I suppose Quidco would be better, if they pay out.

Yeah I will take a punt on it, the price is worth it.

Ordered the 240gb. Couldn't resist at this price. I have the 120gb and it's been great.

Does anyone mind explaining the difference between the mSATA and regular SSDs? Thanks!

'Complete survey' I found this to be the suspicious part of the deal. Surveys are usually designed to market you crap or get your details so someone else can call you back at a later date so they can spam you as they know your details you trust them more.

Here's an mSata unit >

http://www.ebuyer.com/504791-kingston-60gb-msata-ssdnow-sms200s3-60g

It's primarily designed to fit in a mini-pcie socket in a laptop. Whereas 2.5" SSD would connect to a Sata port in a laptop or desktop. So it would reside in a HDD bay in a laptop.

connection is the difference, mSata is mobile for ultrabooks/tablets and such, sata is for PCs or laptops

At the end of the survey it states for RAm and SSD. I tried adding RAM to basket to check but the site started acting up. Kept refusing to addm then eventually stated it was out of stock, so never got to check. Thanks for the update.

I was just about to post the same thing, it's all over the Hexus forums as well.

It also works for more than one drive at a time, e.g. add a second drive and you get £20 off, etc.

Would i need to be home to sign for it or is it just standard post?
