Thanks for letting us know. I'll update my post.

Your header says posted previously posted a month ago - I posted @ £13.99 last week only expired as I set the end date on the 17th !!

Read comments on my deal if you want to know more about part code problems - still awaiting Play's delivery of RAM to see if its 204 or 240pin plus Play will not reply to e-mails re. problems with part number - their not very helpful right now and slow delivery !!!

No problemo - Someone has been nice enough to unexpire my deal - my RAM has arrived and its definitely 204pin - others have left comments saying their RAM received is also 204pin so its just the code description on the play webpage which is slightly wrong.

Hey, so will this fit in any laptop using ddr3 memory? I bought the msi cr630 at argos that was posted on here and was wondering if this would be suitable to upgrade it from 2gb upto 4gb? Any advice much appreciated, absolute noob with this stuff

If your running 32bit it's pointless going past 3rd on laptops

3gb sorry

It should be. I did a quick check on the crucial website and although the part number they quote for your notebook is different (CT1298976) to the one being sold here, the spec of the memory they quote and the one is this post is exactly the same.

I've got a 13" MacBook Pro, the 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo with 2GB of RAM.

I did a bit of research and the 2 differences between the RAM is the speed, currently I have 1067MHz, and this one is 1333MHz, the other difference is this one is PC3-10600, I currently have PC3-8500.

I'm guessing my Macs motherboard will accommodate this ram, but it may run it the same way its running my current ram, rather than at the faster speeds etc.

Can anyone confirm this please?

i bought emachine e732z i3 from sainsburys today , it has 2 gb in , will this memory will fit in ?

If it's anything like Windows in terms of RAM, it'll run it at the maximum capacity of your motherboard. I'm going to grab two of these, even though my laptop max is also 1067MHz - which is what the RAM will end up running at, regardless of the extra speed.

According to Crucial.com, it should be perfectly fine for your laptop - although, as described above, it will only run at 1067MHz, due to your chipset's capacity.

Oh, btw - HOT!

Will this work on a Dell ispiron M301Z? Crucial gives me a similar one but with a different code!

On the left it says, 'Each memory slot can hold DDR3 PC3-8500, DDR3 PC3-10600 with a maximum of 4GB per slot.'

So, yes .

Got the RAM today and installed it. Fits perfectly and the system profiler says its running at 1333Mhz.

Not a bad upgrade for £28 considering Apple were trying to charge me £90 when I bought the machine. And I can sell off my old ram, probably end up being a £10 upgrade
