I fancy four of these in RAID 0. Then finally it'll be a fast setup with a large storage amount. Mind you, over £1,200 for just 2TB is a bit steep.
Good price , But i feel these need to drop below the £300 mark to be Voted HOT
HOT!

I've been looking at a 256 for a while but this at twice the capacity is brilliant.

Some further reading shows freezing problems on macbooks. I'll hold fire for now.

To sparx1981. If you plan on RAID 0 for these you need to be aware that Trim will not work and the overall speed will be restricted by the sata3 interface.

If you're on an Intel platform then pretty soon Intel should be releasing an update to their Rapid Storage Technology suite that allows the use of TRIM in a RAID environment.

I use the word soon lightly though as they originally announced this last November & we're still waiting...

..... no it won't lol

If you get 6Gbps speeds from each port, then that can amount to 12Gbps bandwidth total, that's why my RAID 5 array of Samsung drives can hit around a mighty 550 MB/s with a total of 8TB of space!
sorry, got it 20 pounds cheaper. check other deals on M4 512GB on HUKD.

although I know amazon is probably better in terms of customer service.
The 120gb drives don't seem to be dropping in price (apart from the ocz, which people say breaks down). The 120gb m4 has gone up by £4 since 27th May. £4 is measly I know, but I am looking for the sign that these things have stopped falling dramatically in price before I buy one.

The fact that it's gone up in price by £4 would be an indicator to me...
That is crazy!
hot

Keep on dropping baby! £99 here we come!
Prices are getting better. Still I'm keen to see these drop below the price of a half decent laptop!
