I just bought 2*4gb of the 1866mhz for 30 each yesterday, which I thought was a good price.

fantastic price, have some heat

Would these be ok for a hp microserver n54l? Wanted to bump up my ram from 2x2gb to 2x4gb. Then again is it worth increasing the ram when I have a ssd running just the os along with the 4gb that I already have? Would I see any better performance increase by upgrading the ram?

Superb deal, time to get a bit more memory for the PC I reckon, cheers

If you are using a 64bit OS and find that you are low on memory then why not.
If you have a 32bit OS then definitely don't bother.

Placed 2 separate orders 4GB each to get 8GB, free postage
So 8GB (2x4GB) cost £45.58 plus possible Quidco
Thanks

I use Microserver for ESXi, multiple virtual OS, the more RAM the better. It depends what you're using the Microserver for. Look at your current RAM usage and run all tasks together that you'll max use and assess it from there >

Nice trick to get £10 off twice, I use it as we'll! A bit cheeky but there you go.

Thanks for this, will have a nice upgrade to the current memory.

2 seperate orders as well to maximise the savings

Exactly the deal I was looking for - Managed to pick up another stick of the 8GB to pair with the existing one in my PC. Had held out on initial purchase and then watched the price go up over the months. Now I can stop worrying about RAM prices for a good couple of years Have some heat.

Can anyone help me, will this memory fit a mid-2010 macbook pro 15" ??

I cant make sense of it!

Could I use this in my acer aspire 5472z, it currently has 6gb ram (1x4gb and 1x2gb) could I just replace the 2gb?

Wish I could get a set of Ballistix Sport 2x 4GB for £36 like it was last year

I'm wishing for a red sports car and a blonde lady....
X)

Thanks OP. It pays to check back on rss feed.

Heat added. Definitely buying this for my second rig.

heat!!!!! gutted I just bought 8gb hyper x for £55

......never mind.

hot!!!! would have bought but just bought ram

I did exactly the same thing, (probably) the same RAM chips yesterday, £45.58, arrived today, Quidco tracked about £2.66 for me, not sure if it'll confirm though, from experience it usually does

Nope tried it, I think its compatable but the heatsink makes it too high.

Hot! Thanks OP saved me some pennies

Hi

Just bought 2 x 4GB, Ballistix 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-12800 memory modules for £47.98 delivered, hoping that they are compatible with my HP Microserver as the specs are ok apart from Non ECC and they physically fit as I have checked the height etc.

Qty: 2 BLT4G3D1608ET3LX0CEU
Part Number: BLT4G3D1608ET3LX0CEU
Price: 19.99
Description: 4GB, Ballistix 240-pin DIMM
Line total: 39.98

Partial returns on volume discount purchases may result in loss of volume discount.
Line item subtotal: 39.98

Approximate tax: 8.00
Shipping charges: Royal Mail Free Shipping (3-5 working days) 0
Estimated order subtotal: 47.98

Has anyone fitted Non ECC to their HP Microserver, obliviously the ECC version is better but there are no discounts on the ECC memory as far as I can tell Ballistic do not make ECC memory?

Thanks OP
