The 32Gb 3200MHz kit is £7 cheaper than the red kit I ordered yesterday, what a bargain. Tempted to cancel and reorder but the red matches my cooler and gfx card, even though I don't have a window in my pc case I will know it won't be the right colour

How does this compare to the corsair LPX range 32gb 3200mhz kit?

I was with you all the way until you said you have no window in the PC case. At that point, my level of OCD couldn't keep up
Ordered the 3200MHz CL16 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) BLS2K16G4D32AESB within seconds of it going live on Amazon, I was watching the previous 32GB deal about to expire and ordered that, but cancelled now this deal on.

How did you post it so fast Brutes, mine got deleted just minutes after you posted it.

I know it sounds crazy, but I would know . Maybe one day I will upgrade my pc case, still rocking an Antec P180 if anyone remembers that case. I can't remember exactly when I got it but somewhere between 10-15 years ago (had a core2duo originally, old school) .It's built like a tank although I have changed the case fans twice now.

Noticeable difference? Not really, nothing you would notice in everyday useage. Fairly good article about it here >> techspot.com/art…ng/

I'm building a pc and in the 10 years since I built the last one it seems that every component has this sort of sad bedroom boy led lighting. I'm just hoping that I can either turn it off or that the case will prevent any light from escaping!

I don't mind the lights. Static is nice. No need to insult the rest of us because you don't.

Ah, in that comment I just meant if there's no window and it's hidden, I don't mind whether the colours match. If I could see it, then it would probably bother me as it did for the person in the original comment!

I'm still at the kiddie phase of liking the bright lights though, just built a new PC in December - first one with a tempered glass window. Did I pay a bit of a premium for parts with RGB despite only buying components that has some kind of discount? Yes. Yes I did.

Will I do it again when I inevitably get an itch to build myself a new PC in 3/4 years? Hopefully not
brilliant price for 32gb of ram!

16GB sticks are dual rank. If you want single rank you need to get smaller sticks.
Is it worth getting these if my motherboard can’t use the speed?

I’ve got a dell inspiron and the ram speed maxes out at 2666mhz.
But the cost for 32gb at that speed is higher annoyingly!

Perhaps more knowledgeable people will correct me but I would have thought you could underclock this RAM and then tighten the timings (so CL14 perhaps) in BIOS so that it runs at your required clock speed but with even less latency than if you bought the set for 2666MHz CL16.

Not sure if you would have memory timing options in the Bios on a dell motherboard, I could be wrong.

I'd get them anyway, you could put them into a new system if you upgrade.

Bought the red ones and stuck in today. No xmp profile available and overclocking ram resulted in locking up my mobo and having to reset cmos. Have moved from geil b die. But at stock seems ok
