Good price for 16gb, but unless you need more than 16gb (unlikely for gamers) you would be better off with 2x8gb for dual channel which was £ or 2 more in red (might still be).

I decided to go for 2x16gb for just over £100 the other day but I have other use cases or I would stuck at 16gb
I currently have 2 x 4GB 3000mhz DDR4 in my Gigabyte A320 motherboard. knowing nothing about adding more memory, can I just add this in the free slots that I have available?

Thanks

You certainly can it’s not recommended you mix different rams but it works

It will work at the slowest of the rates such as 3000mhz for you.
RAM is also just not about speed/mhz, but also about latency too, so it may affect that too.

As benhornsby1999 says it will work but it's best to keep to the same RAM in all slots.

100% micron-e die?
Yes, these should be e-die.

Hi NBargie,

I would recommend either finding a 2x8gb or buying 2 of these for 32gb (if you need that much). As others have said, it may work with 2x4gb and a 16gb but we wouldn't recommend it. Note that your current ram is 2133mhz which means this ram would be downclocked to that speed too.

Ideally, with Ryzen, you want as fast a ram as possible. Probs for a A320 board, 2400 or 2667 would be the upper limit without overclocking.

Tl;dr, this ram wouldn't be the correct choice for you
Ram prices going up soon?
