I've been using this drive since November 2018 in a work laptop and it's been fine, it's like all budget SSD's in that it is a DRAM-less cacheless device so can suffer slow downs if transferring larger files. I've not noticed much of a problem unless copying something like a 500MB file or larger and it slows down the transfer compared to my Samsung EVO 850 drive.

But it is very cheap for a respected brand... £26 for a 240GB Crucial SSD is utterly nuts really!

3 year warranty and less durability vs their MX range that has 5 year warranty and likely to be more long term durable.

Power users may consider the Crucial MX range or Samsung Evo 860 range.

There is an oversupply problem in the 240GB SSD market so expect the price to go up when they stop productionn for a while

Pretty sure I've still got one of these I've been moving between machines for a few years now. It started life being levered into a netbook... Turns out you can't polish a turd though so it moved on. Its in my dell 4th gen i5 laptop now... Never noticed any issues but then the machine doesn't get much stress from me beyond a bit of shopping and image editing. Seems reliable enough
Will this work on a PS4 Slim externally? I've read that external storage has to be at least 160Gb but I've seen conflicting posts from users who said that it needs to be at least 250Gb in capacity.
Love how cheap SSDs are these days!

I don’t see any technical reasons why this wouldn’t work, as long as you had a caddy for it to convert SATA to USB.
