The crucial bx500 is good for storage, but not as good for having your operating system on?
One of the reviews also quotes rhe write speed difference
"The small difference in cost does not offset the poor sustained write speed (see 8GB write performance pictures). Modest system backups take around 2 hours instead of 20 mins. After about 4GB BX write drops down below 30 GB/S whereas the MX only drops to 250GB /S after about 20GB." (edited)
