I looked on Amazon to see if the Warehouse deals for the memory applies but it didn’t but found that the 32GB kit was on the Black Friday deals whereas the 16GB kit was not (it’s still about £56). Should be compatible with a Mac Mini 2018 model amongst other computers.

I don't really need 32GB in may lappy, but now I'll have it

would be handy for reading the labour manifesto as it just seems to grab all the resources going....

Bit overkill for a laptop never mind a pc?

I need to edit 4k video in Premiere Pro so 32gb is necessary. I only just upgraded my desktop to 32gb and it makes a huge difference for video editing.

Good price, Just what i was looking for.
Thanks, Excellent upgrade for the Aspire 5.
16GB at £54.74 is good price.

16GB Dual RAM would unlock the full potential of the Ryzen 3500u.

Hard to beat 32GB at this price. Have some heat
Great price.
Excellent price for this kit. Almost the cheapest it's ever been. Sadly limited to one per customer, which is a shame as I needed two kits for two micro workstations. Ordered one for now anyway.
brilliant price

Excellent deal for 32GB 2666MHz memory. I noticed that the page says latency is CL19, which is pretty loose. Should be fine for most people's laptop usage though.
CL19 appears to be about normal across the board for this type of memory. The more expensive Crucial Ballistix variant is stated to be CL16 at 2666Mhz, but only under XMP, so most systems will run it at 2400Mhz instead of the advertised 2666Mhz, making it pointlessly expensive for standard chipsets. The only one I've seen that claims and delivers CL15 under both JEDEC and XMP specs at the advertised 2666Mhz is the HyperX Impact memory, but it it's a lot pricier than this deal at ~£120 for 32GB.

Really depends what your use case is. Personally, I'm not fussed by the standard latency as I didn't need it for a gaming rig, so CL19 is fine.
any idea on the difference between CL 19 and CL16 for gaming?

For a personal one, sure, but a mobile workstation would benefit depending on workload.

If you're not sure you need this much, you probably don't.

I need to edit 4k video in Premiere Pro so 32gb is necessary. I only just upgraded my desktop to 32gb and it makes a huge difference for video editing.
In my limited experience of laptops they have a maximum amount of memory that can be used.
Best to check your laptops capacity before you go buying this.
Great for running multiple VMs in the field or movie editing. Top find

Can you run ESXi on a laptop, while running a partitioned linux client on the same lapto at the same time, to RDP onto Windows VM's?
Who really needs 32GB of RAM though?

You've heard of that thing called Windows 10, right???? Think it might run OK with this... 😜

Try it with Linux, you'll be able to do endless multitasking with 32GB.

Not your average hukd user, but there are a few
Great for hosting game servers if you don't want to leave your PC on 24/7. I been using a cheap oldgen i7 laptop, and find that the extra RAM helps for heavily Modded games. Good spot OP!

Yaay, silver gingerbread flamedear...nice.
Will this make much of an impact to a dell xps 9560 that has 16gb already?
Was same price on Black Friday.

I'm an engineering student and run ANSYS and autocad applications etc, this is a massive help

Plus the render distance on Minecraft will be dope

If you need to ask if you need 32GB, you don't need 32GB
Save your cash

Absolutely no difference unless you're doing something that actually needs that extra memory. Windows 10 runs very comfortably with 8GB for day to day tasks (arguably on less)
You only need 16GB and up for specific use cases.
Bought this on BG at same price, sold my 2 x 8gb used on ebay for 50 after fees so 30 quid to double my memory
Great price! I bought 16GB a few months back for about £60, wish I had waited (though don't really need more)!

The link for the 16gb doesn't seem to work for me. Could you try posting again as I'm interested in buying 16gb
Can anyone advise me if this memory would be compatible with a dell g3 15 laptop please?
