Amazon Link if anybody is holding on for a price match.

Still think these will drop to about 130 quite soon...Still hot from me tho!

Good price. Gonna hold off for now though as Samsung are going to be bringing out a new drive soon which may force prices down further.

Just paid £152 for one of these from ebuyer thinking it was cheap

I was holding out for the 256GB Evo's to get below £100 before taking the plunge. They did drop below that but I still didn't buy.

Now that the MX100 is on the scene we could see some carnage (even more!) on the SSD price front particularly if Samsung is releasing a new drive.

At this rate it won't be long before 500GB drives are not much over £100!

Heat added BTW - good price!

Oh well, join the club I never expected a fairly new product like this to be reduced.

I wait till 1tb comes down to a affordable price that's enough for gaming on and use a msata for the os only.

Dropped by nearly a tenner in one week.

I made this prediction on HUKD's about a year ago and my opinions about the reduction of cost for SSD's was scoffed at and abused. But I could see the future...it was obvious. With the incessant miniaturisation of smartphones, tablets and laptops, reduced space, weight and electromechanical reliability would win out over HDD's and production scaling would cause prices to plummet.

You also said they'd be 16Gb/s.

I just bought this for around £151 and it's being dispatched now. Where do I go on the Amazon site to request the difference refund?

bought one at £152 from amazon two days ago. Great drive for the price. Hot.

amazon have matched the price so if you have just bought one within 7 days you can get the difference refunded apart of their price promise.

Amazon just refunded me the difference for this and the Fractal R4 case I bought which has gone down again.

They said it's an exception though. Do they always do the 7 day thing? I thought that ended in 2008

Looks like they do. It used to be 30 days.

Really? Was I thinking of some interface like 16Gb/s SATA 3.2...? Perhaps a standard that hasn't yet been broadly adopted. I can't remember the detail of my argument just the gist. Well, we're seeing the price decrease so next it's the bandwidth increase

Just seen the price on Amazon. Nice one

Got mine a couple of weeks ago from Amazon, via Flubit. Amazon price was £156 then but the Flubit offer was £146.82, so only lost out by less than a couple of quid compared to this deal, but heat added anyway as it's a great price for a drive that is as good as the M550 but way cheaper! Will be going into my Acer 8935G laptop to replace the current 500GB Sata HDD. This will give me 512GB SSD for system and games together with the second drive which is a 500GB Sata HDD for Movies/Music/Photo's etc.
