Wow I had to re-read this. Holy hell, I used flubit on this very drive just 2 weeks ago and got it for 71 quid. Right place right time obviously. Seems even more expensive in other places so at the moment this is as good as it gets I guess.

Seems a pretty standard price for this drive, the most this has ever been is £119 according to camelcamelcamel so I wouldn't call this a deal..

£5 more than the 750GB sold for on Black Friday.. NAND prices sure are going up

Unfortunately, this is the cheapest I can find this SSD for at the current time. I know there have been a lot better deals in the past.

Yeah. At this price I think I can wait.

Crazy isn't it. I picked up the 750gb for £105, realising just how lucky it was to catch it

I think the point is you are referring to the past, and we are talking about the present.

No, we are talking whether a deal is good or not

It doesn't matter whether it was cheaper before. If someone is currently looking for decent a 500GB SSD this is a good deal. So have some heat from me!

I can't legitimately say I think this is a good deal either with much better prices just a few weeks ago, but it looks like prices are going up for a good while too, and this is probably just going to get even more expensive in the coming months...

This makes me happy I bought 2 of the 750GB drives for £105.

Or you could hold out for a Xmas/NY deal for this or a Sandisk drive. Not unlikely to happen. SSD prices are going up but not just yet.

Down to 109.99
