Would rather buy from here than crucial website. As amazon cs is better …Would rather buy from here than crucial website. As amazon cs is better !!!!!

Crucial have great service?

I'd rather buy from crucial, they probably pay tax. Plus more profit goes to them for future product development.

Plus Amazon just price matching should not be deal, it's literally the same price.

Agreed, though in the past I've had good service from them as well, but it was a few years back so things may have changed?

This is actually more expensive than the crucial deal so voted cold. Crucial it is 70.76. Here it is 70.79.
I've been out of the hdd and ssd game for a while - so is this the normal price for ssd's nowadays? I remember picking up a 250gb a couple of years back for something like 40-50 quid ?!

Prices have been high for a while now.
Hot deal.
I have so much confidence in Amazon's customer service (although none whatsoever in their Keystone Cops delivery service) that they don't even need to price-match.
I would, and sometimes do, pay a small price premium to shop at Amazon.

Thanks for posting.

This is pretty standard for this size storage to be honest.

You can pick up a similar spec Kingston SSD A400 240GB for 13p more which comes more highly rated but I don't profess to know who makes good SSD's these days.

I've found Crucial warranty service to be pretty good, shame I had so many of their SSDs fail, which is why I no longer use them.
Amazon customer service is brilliant. I returned Sony Xperia XZ1 (due to fault) through Royal mail Special Delivery. Amazon only received empty box. Some royal mail a##hole niked the phone and delivered empty box.
Amazon CS asked me to send the postage receipt to confirm I post the item via special delivery. I sent the photo of the receipt and within two days they refunded the money (£489). No further questions asked.
Talked to royal mail and still waiting for reply to my inquiry.

Ok cool - I need to start reading into the IT trends of late.
I have 2 Crucial SSD's with no problems. The prices went up last year due to a shortage of materials. They seem to have settled down again but still higher than they were.
