It was around that price on Amazon 2 months ago. It's not the end of the world if you don't grab it now, it'll probably drop to a similar price again eventually.
i WOULD HOPE/expect that SSD prices will decrease , 128L 256Layer to come online , PentaLC , etc
Finally mechanical Hard drives for home use become extinct, like the coelecanth ...
I am waiting for 2Tb for £100 ...

Hopefully, it might come down as you're saying but the current trend doesn't suggest that.

2020 it's expected to rise due to the power outage at the Samsung plant, new consoles hoovering up all the NAND, 5G phones on the horizon and NAND fabs always loving putting prices up at any given moment... I don't think you will see 2TB for £100 for a good while.
I love these long warranties on SSDs, they'd go great in a NAS that doesn't see much writing. If I wanted a 5 year warranty on a 2TB HDD I'm looking at £113 which makes no sense when you factor in the performance and power consumption difference vs buying an SSD.
Paid £208 for this a month or so ago on Amazon. Great price but I’m still very happy paying what I did for the drive it is.

It’s a very good drive.
