Ok, the 36p difference didn't show on camel site and I didn't see that price in hotukdeals But fair enough, OP updated!
MX500s seem pretty tasty for the price. Still will wait for an Amazon sale before I get a new SSD

if you checked the deal a bit earlier then you would understand the comment more. you have taken it out of context.

Post a deal you leacher
Bought this a few days ago after searching around, it's a good enough price.
Thanks!
memory prices reminds me of a brides knickers, except weddings are cheaper
There were some good old days for the SSD
This is the lowest I've seen it since I've been looking for a good SSD. Bought it a few days ago, arrived today and installed it. Has faster write speeds than my m.2 256gb. This SSD gave me around 500+ read and write. Pretty happy with it so far.

(I know it has been considerably cheaper in the past, but sadly prices are weirdly high nowadays.)
Or go for the MX300 275GB on ebay £57 delivered !!! Bought few and they're great .
Any idea when the m.2 version of the MX500 is going to ship?
This came top in Custom PCs latest round up of SATA SSDs.

I'm doing the same and guess what... people like us will never get one.
If it comes on here as a good deal then just go for it. There'll always be the next best thing but it'll be a while before a substantial improvement becomes available.

It's on Crucial's website (but couldn't find any buy link) - some places are taking pre orders, like Scan scan.co.uk/pro…v=c but I guess this means it's not yet out.
Does anybody know if this would be compatible with a Macbook pro early 2011
I've got a 5 year old 128gb crucial ssd. Apart from memory would upgrading to this be any differece. Got Amazon gift cards so thinking why not atm lol

Why not would be a good reason, I doubt you would notice any significant speed increase, however without knowing the spec of your existing drive it would be difficult to tell...
I would go for 256GB as a minimum next time - I bought a few 128GB back in the day and I always seemed to run out of space - 256Gb 5 years later and there's still 50Gb free! I'm going to check the 275GB MX300 hatot mentioned

Got the same for £109.97 on Tuesday from Laptops Direct with free delivery and Topcashback if they pay out. Looks like their price has creeped up to £112.97 but they sometimes price match if you phone them. Not sure if you can still get cashback doing that though or would have to pay over the phone if they were to match this. It might be an option for those who don't like Amazon.

Found the same price at EBuyer. Unless you order other items they will probably post Royal Mail rather than Yodel which means you are more likely to receive it.

Yes, it's definitely official, but there's no indication on when it will hit the market (whether it's 2 weeks or Q3?). The only specific date I've seen so far is mid-April in a US retailer.

It appears that yes:

(reminiscent of the olden times when Apple had actual connection ports in their laptops!)

Got it wrong it's 256gb. Idkidk
Good price, just managed to nab a 1tb version (1050gb model) New from someone local for £170 👌 but obviously that’s a local deal so this is a good price for national 500gb.
is this a joke ? RRP £112 and offer price is £110 and nearly 900 degree heat? cant believe
