This deal is gonna get HOT like HELL
It hasn’t been this price in years. HOT!
Excellent price. Heat added.
Feeling HOT HOT HOT
Tasty, anyone still refusing to upgrade their OS mechanical hard drive needs this now
What's with the lowered price on SSD's recently ? Are these end of line clearance deals or is this going to become the new price ?

Do you have to pay for this service or is there some sort of free trial?

Thanks for that cancelled my order and ordered it with prime now
Managed to get it for £70 using a few different offers, really can argue against buying for that price

Have you link to the £10 of £40 at paypoint if it is still active?
It does work , I have one en route with sata to usb cable for £89.41 You need to order from primenow.amazon.co.uk/ and sign in to your Amazon account.

Would this need an enclosure to be used as an external drive?

no these are the latest and greatest model..... in the last month SSD prices have plummetted downwards (thank the great god of solid state) - I imagine the obvious price manipulation of memory has come to an end between the memory makers and they're now all racing to be the cheapest once again...there were various reasons for high priced memory but it seemed some of it was demand outstripping supply and probably some price fixing going on to drive the market up... now it's gone the other way. Memory is just another traded commodity, with the associated scallywaggery.
What a price!

There was me saying the Sandiks ultra II may sell more if it was priced £10 below the Crucial to £95, when this turns up. The Sandisk will have to be priced at £78 to be competitive. And that just isnt going to happen.

I paid £85 for a 500gb without dram, nowhere near as good as this just a couple of weeks ago.
I managed to get it for £69.82 with 10 minutes of my time using various amazon promotions, result!

Surely you had to go down the shops, to get the £10 off from £40 topup....you did this and rest in ~10mins?

Would this need an enclosure to be used as an external drive?

Just fitted into my laptop and I am so far impressed with the improvement. I suspect if you used it as an external drive it would lose a little of that speed although it would work with some form of enclosure. The unit is very light and very small,

If you are buying this particular drive then installation instructions and cloning and backup software are free .

Yeah, I realise it would be slower. I just thought you might have bought the cable to use it externally, so was wondering if that was possible without an enclosure.

The cable was bought to clone my existing hard drive , I was not sure if there was any other way to do it , it worked like a dream and my current windows installation and all programs are now working on and from the installed SSD

Gggrrr. Being waiting weeks for this to get down to £100. Got fed up of waiting and bought 1 for 105 at weekend! Typical.
Finally, a significant drop. I had an alert for it and it was posted again and again each time for a ~£1 drop, and getting upvoted for some reason! I finally caved about 2 weeks or so ago and got it with the £5 off, but this is actually the time to get this!
Having been burnt by Samsung, I expect better luck with Crucial - working out great so far.
Super hot!
