i just received mine from amazon for the same price amazon.co.uk/gp/…9B/

i've only got sata300 but am averaging 205 MB/s read performance on an encrypted partition. i assume on sata600 you could double that to get nearer the rated 560 MB/s

i selected normal packaging and got it in an amazon "letter" sort of box (not a big parcel box)

I can attest to quality of this item. I've had one for about 5 years now and it's still going strong. SO fast compared to an old HDD.
Got it for £112 about a month ago and it pretty much feels like my PC is no longer held back (I did have an 8 year old mechanical hdd though). Lag spikes/stutter in games? Haven't seen a single one

Considering the Crucial MX500 launched last December, I'm somewhat skeptical that you have had one for about 5 years... despite that, this is a good SSD.
