That's too much for an awful Crucial DRAM-less QLC SSD.
Why do they always get so much heat when you can get a much better, more reliable TLC SSD for £3 more?

Will this work on series S ? Any advice what to buy if not? Thanks

No. You need a specific Xbox memory card.

Does this have DRAM ? (edited)

Crucial P3's don't have DRAM cache, you need to step up to Crucial P5 models for DRAM.

What is bad about having no dram?
    Avatar
Very slightly slower loading times (talking an extra 0.5 to 2 seconds depending on the game/app), sequential write speeds will plummet but ONLY when continiously writing large fails, and DRAM also helps increase the lifespan of the drive (if used for writing to a LOT).

If only using as a game drive, having DRAM cache isn't isn't a big deal, the only difference it would make is the tiny reduction in game loading times.
Just don't get this (or ANY) Crucial QLC NAND drive, there are better options for less or a similar price. (edited)
