Great m.2 drive for PS5, I bought this for £79 at the time from BoxDeals with free delivery.
Had to buy a 3rd party heat sink which you can get for around £5-£7.

I have like 50 games on ps4 digital. Now having a PS5 and realising how little storage comes with the machine, are most people just getting external HDD's? and are they really that much slower for installing the PS5 games back on to the console itself. As the price I have seen on a 2tb or 4tb internal ssd seems like a ridiculous amount.

I haven't done it myself but I believe you can run ps4 games off external hdds.
