don't expect these'll fit/look right on a hybrid bike, more for MTB frames?
Thanks ordered :-)

Definitly aimed at MTBs.

Although here's a photo of them on a CX bike:

run them on my CX in winter for commuting, work fine.
Are these actually any bigger than the ones that are sold as being for 26" bikes?

Dunno but I run them on my 27.5 and they fit fine and work great, think I paid twice that price as well. so seems a good deal to me
Just what I needed, thanks mate have some heat
The ones in Poundland do the same job just as well. Don't panic - it doesn't say 'Poundland' on them!

Definitely, I tried to make my 26" ones fit when I bought a 29'er and was way too short at the back... messy business!
Same as the Raleigh ones from Argos. Still rated hot as good price and I have a 29er bike and it is rare to get good deals for that size.

I went to the local bike shop and they sold these at £12.99 for front guard and again for back.

Went Poundland and the front guard is pretty solid the back is a bit weak. But as I use a rack I atratched it to the seat post and laid the guard under my rack, put two small holes into it and cable tied it to the rack to keep it off the wheel.

Beats spending £26 for something that's gonna do the same job and be hidden under a rack and lock.
