I won't recommand any one to get into this as this has huge risks I have lost quite a bit of investment in this purely because of my own silliness. This whole market depends on greed and phoney ideas (mostly)
As long as you only "invest" what you can afford to lose, it's all a bit of fun. No different to a flutter on the gee-gees if you look at it that way.
I know everything about it anyway. Became an expert in 10 minutes and now all my drinking buddies don't even answer when I ring up

thats what you call gold fever you should have done some research first - this bit i like, I have lost quite a bit of investment in this purely because of my own silliness.-dont you mean greed
Crypto has been good for me so far, invested £380 in various coins in spring last year - withdrew all my original investment in December and still have £1500 to play with. If it crashes now all I lose is my time, and I could withdraw that as a nice present now but I've decided to HODL.
Looks like the bitterfolk have downvoted and expired the deal, even though it's free and not expired. Go figure!
What's the deal - was the book free?
Got in last May and have made quite a bit. Got back my original investment plus quite a bit on top.

Thanks for showing there are people out there who are still bitter when people try and make money.
What they meant was money was in, it was at an ok level then the value tanked. Which can happen in 5 minutes.
The whole market is controlled by a few people who have the power to manipulate everything for there own greed, and everyone else rises the bad wagon thinking there going to make money!
People need to understand that in this market for some body to win someone else must lose, you can't just make money out of thin air unless your the central bank. There is no value created by just buying and selling intangible goods. If everyone were to sell their cryptos tomorrow they would all go to 0, see the bitconnect fiasco.

That's correct you can say it was greed if that makes you feel better but ill call silliness. You live and learn.

Ripple and Stellar are worth investing, I know loads of people who have put around £50 on just for fun. I see it as a long term investment.

Seems like a hype buy
Treat it like putting a few quid on the horses and you’re fine. Bitcoin has been wreck by speculators and looks like regulation will finish it off. Lost nearly half its value in the last few weeks. Out of the others, the market is so flooded with different ones now, most of them will end up worthless.
