All I need now is a new pc to run it... my pc is over 9 years old and I've sold most of the parts , but I'm too lazy to build my own.

It's alright today if you don't go mad. A lone 2GB GTX1050 is twice as fast as 8800 Ultra SLI, which was a monster setup when the first game launched. £1000 worth of graphics cards...... in 2007. They still couldn't do 1920 x 1200, max settings, no AA and maintain 30FPS. It was bonkers. GTX1050 still only does 40-60FPS on those settings today with a decent CPU.

The original game's main problem is the lack of major CPU threading so 4K locked 60FPS is still difficult at maximum settings even on great hardware. 8700k and GTX1080ti will just about do the job!

I get what you're saying totally. I had the 9800 gtx oc edition and it used to struggle at 1080p...
