Amazing deal for a very good bike. Guessing its 10 speed. Hence the price.

Scorchio. I have the lower spec Agree Pro, which is my pride and joy and was a similar price to this.

Would recommend Cube to anybody, just the right amount of stiffness on the carbon frame to use as an all rounder, this is extremely well equipped for the money too.

I bought my MTB from Winstanleys and the delivery is very quick. You'll need a good set of spanners when it arrives though.

Just woken up.How much?!!!!

It says compact which must refer to the frame but it comes with a triple 10 speed crankset. Good find.

I think it is a compact.

If you can afford it, go carbon. Moved from a nice alu framed bike to an all carbon and it is the smoothest ride ever. Pleasure to commute on and wicked for weekend rides.

Awesome deal. I got the GTC race from them last week for £999.99. Amazing bike and I can't fault winstanleys!

Just placed an order for me and the wife.

Nope: triple 10 speed
" Cranks: Shimano Ultegra FC-6703 Hollowtech II, "

Compact refers to the crank set. Smaller/less teeth crankset makes it an ideal all rounder and easier for climbs.

for that price I would expect it to peddle for me!

Yu get an engine with this right ?

What makes me laugh with this and other bikes costing £1000s is that you cyclists think your elitist the more you spend , it's not the bike that makes you better it's the person , I could beat you in a race by using a £100 bike from halfords

The only person crying elite around here is you, my man.

Excellent deal on this, that is a lot of bike for the money.

By the way, I believe the geometry on this comes up a little shorter than most, so be careful if ordering. I would be a 58cm on something like a Cannondale Synapse or a Specialized Roubaix (both quite upright bikes anyway), but I would be a 60cm on this.

Poor trolling effort keep practicing tho.

Looks like a good deal to me, Wonder If I could get it on a cycle to work deal.

I don't really have £1200 that I should be spending on a road bike at the moment, but I think I'm going to be checking out interest free credit cards, that's a great deal

Just to fuel the trolls.... I do more miles per year on my bike than in a car so why shouldn't I get myself a decent bike...?

Seems a very good buy for the price... if only I had the spare money. If buying I would ring up to clarify exactly what the chainset is as there seems to be a contradiction in the title and description. I'm thinking it's a compact and not a triple but the description says FC-6703 which is a triple. The cassette is listed as a 12-30 so combining that with a triple would give you an unreal granny gear

It's ticks a few boxes for me.
*Looks nice
*Carbon
*Internal cable routing
*Can take electronic gearing for future upgrades

last year i cycled thousands of miles so who are you to say I think I am elitist because I choose to spend my money on something I spend hours and hours on? I don't race I cycle for endurance and enjoyment. A £100 halfords bike would probably get me from A to B but it wouldn't be as enjoyable, silky smooth bearings and slick gear changes vs rattling, rusting cheap parts. no contest.

So it sounds like the specified triple cransk set 6703 (thats what the 03 designates) is incorrect?

It says it's a triple in the general description, but a compact against the individual frame sizes. It's not clear, anyone looking to buy one should call them for clarification.

Will get in touch with them. Am I right in thinking that Cube's run small and that a 58 would suit someone who usually has a 56 from other brands?

Please enter IMUK or IM Wales or any triathlon / cycle road race for that matter and if you beat me I will donate £200 to a charity of your choice.

Back on track I have the di2 version of the Cube Agree and its fantastic. This is a good price for this model - good find OP have some heat.

I have a basso and ribble in 56 and a cube in 60, i'd check the geometry against a bike you know fits you, their sizing is very odd! This might be why it says compact in the description

Why not go for this? Same price, same weight but it has this year's 11 speed Ultegra which it a fair step up by all accounts.

This seems a very resonable deal

What are planet-x like on things like warranty? They always seem competitive on price and they are quite local to me.

Rip off.

Buy a runabout car with change to spare instead. You get where you need to go a lot faster, you can take passengers, you can stay warm and dry, and you don't endanger yourself and other roadusers by using a bicycle on roads built for motor vehicles. You also have a relatively high chance of surviving or avoiding serious injury in the event of a collision.

Bicycles this expensive are also prime and easily obtainable targets for thieves. Just a matter of time before your £1000 lump of carbon fibre with 2 wheels attached gets stolen. Chance of getting it back, almost zero.

Great bike .... on sale at chainreactioncycles.com/cub…920 for £1259 but extra 10% off with code till 29/01/2014 making it £1133 .

I've been looking at some of the Planet X bikes. Amazing value for money you're correct.

Nice to see some smaller companies smashing out decent bikes and cutting out all the middle men.

Canyon well worth a look too!

Even better - don't go out at all. Ever. Become a hermit or obese couch potatoe!

I've managed an average 3,000 miles a year on my bikes for 4/5 years. 35 year old, still alive and fitter than ever before. I even own a car too! Can you believe it.

I know a few chaps with Cube MTB's - competitive price, decent spec and they've all been impressed.

I'm on my 4th Cube road bike and been very happy
