20% discount code on page, it's 64gb memory and 4gb ram, duel operating system, I don't know much about processors but it's a Chinese knock off so might last a year, lightweight so good to take on hols.
Probably luck of the draw but I'm tempted anyway. Don't know about customs either?

no its not, its …no its not, its storage.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_memorythis goes it depth about it.

Er... I'm not sure why you've posted a link that confirms *exactly* what I said (i.e. it's still memory), yet you're telling me I'm wrong. Try reading the section entitled 'Non-volatile memory'...

Still a type of memory.

once again a tablet that goes against intels published spec that this cpu only supports 2Gb of RAM
Makes you wonder if the manufacturers are dishonest or just so incompetent could you really trust this to work properly.

It can support up to 8GB of LPDDR3, but only 2GB of DDR3L-RS.

If you want an example of a wellknown manufacturer with the same chip/memory:

yup intel screwed up their comparison listing by the look of it, maybe a non english speaking person wrote it for them, but to be fair there were many 8300s released with 4Gb as well and these sheets say that was definitely a no no

Hahaha you are so dumb. You linked an article that proved you wrong...damn you must feel dumb. Luckily you're behind a keyboard and we can't see your face

I can't believe these aren't unusably awful for that price. Would be intrigued to see though!

Review. The usb3 has problems.
The screen protector is there because it doesn't have scratch proof glass which is disappointing.

Looks like you don't get much space for Android and that would be my primary use. Android 5 on this.

;" it is synonymous with the term "primary storage". Computer memory operates at a high speed, for example random-access memory (RAM), as a distinction from storagethat provides slow-to-access program and data storage but offers higher capacities."

"Typical secondary storage devices are hard disk drives and solid-state drives."

its ok kiddo, reading words is hard.

Tempting.

Can I uninstall android.

I only need windows.

I have one so here is the quick run down.

It DOES support 4GB of RAM.
You can get rid of the android partitition, its stuck at 5.1
The screen in excellent as is the build quality ( there are full reviews on tech tablets) the speakers are at right hand side which means that you can cover one up with your hand. ( people complain about the sound but for the money its OK, if you are that worried get a cheapo bluetooth speaker)

There is a micro SD slot which worked fine for the first few months but I have found variable after, I even went down to the 16GB ones as recommended on the forums but still variable. I have the keyboard which has usb 2 and that works fine. The keyboard is excellent if atad expensive I think I paid 36. You can get a pen as well that proved impossible to get I eventually got the CHUWI which works (but its not really a surface pro competitor).

Mine is going strong 14 months after purchase. It copes with all the tasks you throw at it. I even upgraded to 10 pro so I could use the Hypervisor for Docker ( this busts its limits) however it does work fine with virtual box and older docker ( the only real problem is the lack of memory, its a wee bit slow for that but its workable).

It has a micro usb so you can use a bigger screen if you want.
If you use snail mail you should have no custom charges.

So in summary will work well for most people, browsing, word, movie playback, book reading all fine. I would also use paypal for the free returns just in case you have any issues.

How about quoting from the part of the article I pointed you at? Or reading the sidebar that lists 'computer memory types'?

It is a non-laminated screen. You may get water-like stains in the middle when the glass sticks to the IPS panel. This is one of the major concerns. I have had a CHUWI tablet in the past and this problem was very frustrating.

Banggood.com do not comply with UK consumer laws. Plus delivery can be up to 28 days which they told me after I ordered - it says 1-2 days, then 6-8 days on its website. Order at your peril!

This costs £100 and has better specs than most current iPads. I think you need to manage your expectations accordingly.

I agree for the cost but the usb3 and screen has put me off.

You can't teach an old dog new tricks...

Oh ffs the term "memory" has always been ambiguous in computing arguing about it is stupid.

It's probably worth mentioning that for similar money you can get the chewi hi10plus which looks to be the same machine but with a metal body and for an extra 20 quid you can get the keyboard model Here
