Yes, you are both correct my apologies, that will teach me for believing my search engine..! I did find a 2013 bike with same spec for 799 ..

No, compact chainset, I.e. the front 2 chain rings. The inner ring is smaller than a "standard" chainset, thus easier gear to turn for hills etc. Unless you live in some flat area, I would recommend a compact.
Not a bad price for full 105 and decent wheels.

Didn't think it was a big enough deal to post..... but if someone posts something more expensive, then yes, as I've just bought one, I will say.....it's about saving money not scoring points!

I may not know much about bikes, but I do know quality bikes come without pedals, as riders usually like to choose their own.
