Good price, hope it gets dispatched !
Bought 2 of em cos the Raspberry Pi is starting to feel decidedly clunky when transferring large files from a USB HDD.
Seems very cheap, just dunno what I'd do with it! If only it had 2 ethernets it'd possibly make a good vpn client.

On board SATA if nothing else!
Like with most boards out there, the hardware might look good on paper but lack of software support makes it one tenth as useful as a Raspberry Pi 3. A quick google search shows most Linux distros are not stable or are not optimised for the hardware, so I bet it will only have marginally better performance than a Pi 3

OOS
Actually, after googling some more, I've decided to cancel my order as it seems software support is all but nonexistent. Even the Cubieboard site has no operating system images to download for this model and I don't fancy it being stuck on Android.

The onboard SATA here is not running off the SoC, it's running off a GL830 USB 2.0 to SATA bridge which is perhaps the worst performing solution out there. Seriously it's only capable of 15MB/s writes and 30MB/s reads, whereas a JMS567 USB 3 to SATA bridge will even on a USB 2 port give you 35MB/s both ways and can stretch to 40 with UAS (usb communication optimisations).

Also there's no armbian build for this so as far as I know there's no "write an SD card and go" solutions for getting linux on here.

Mine came today. And as I mentioned above it's the wrong item.

If you want the Chinese version of photoshop cs6 complete self study then this is for you.

Avoid or remove the deal totally.

Now the haste of returning to the USA.
