I was umming over this and the honor 5c. Decided on this
Took a punt on a cubot... started playing up after 3months and died after 6 months!
Cheaper than Amazon at least
hmm O2 4G on a Chinese phone, that's rare
I'm interested in the Cobot S9.
looks nice and value for money, but hooked on android pay and this doesn't have nfc, so I'm out.
Just picked mine up, feels like a massive upgrade from a smart ultra 6

Will you miss the nfc?

Will you miss the nfc?

i never used NFC once. Why would you need it?
Wonder why this is going cold? looks like a lot of phone for your money from a uk supplier. If I hadn't of just got a p9 lite I would be seriously looking at this, especially as it uses band 20 4G. Looking at the amazon reviews the only problems people have are the gyro doesn't work and there is some difficult to remove adware.

Think you might live to regret that decision

how come? loving it so far. This has a fingerprint scanner, metal casing and even comes with a screen protector and phone case on it. I just couldn't see the benefit of the 5C. The screen was smaller and the only benefit looked to be the benchmark score.

interested to hear why you think its better though.

Android Pay.

Android Pay.

thank goodness there are other options like cash, credit and debit cards to use instead. X)
I have the Dinosaur but it needs a firmware upgrade as it stops all apps after 10 minutes or so in sleep. Will be sending it back unfortunately......
I've taken a punt on this sounds good on paper.
About 138 quid after (small amount of) cashback with a 16gb mem card to get the basket to 150 and having to pay for delivery and the which trail.
impressed with the phone very very quick - does your notification led work for SMS and other alerts? Mine seems temperamental not sure if a problem with the phone or not, flashes sometimes but doesn't turn off once you've read the message
Just ordered the Which trial to get the Cheetah with this deal. I was up til 3am debating so many phones. I really want the iPhone 7plus for so many reasons but the price is killing me and I can't get it under contract. This phone though at this price looks worth the gamble. Sadly it looks to be limited to use in the USA but i'll cross that bridge when I'm back there.
Cubot has some cute videos out and seems to be a legit company. I read some reviews that questioned their ability to deliever on their forthcoming rendered high spec designs, like the S9 (if i remember right) , but also stating that they have done so in the past with phones like this. Take a look at their new Echo videos and the videos where they're breaking walnuts and hammering nails with the screen! Too funny. These companies are are reaching out directly to the consumer and really seem to be game changers. I have low expectations but looks like I could go for at least 6 of these for the price of 1 iPhone...
Just gotta figure out a case now to suit my needs.

Well I have to correct my last post! As I had to wait for the Which code to come I kept looking and couldn't' decide. But funnily enough I ended up going for a similarly spec'd phone, the Motorola Moto G4 (not the plus). It has some drawbacks in that it has no compass or fingerprint reader, but it does has some splash resistance which though not ideal will benefit me on the bike during drizzles over the Cheetah. Cheetah does look slicker though.

Other major part though was Appliance Direct had the same model I researched at dead on 150 so was able to apply the same Which deal with nothing more in the cart and no call to AD. So it's coming one-day ship for 139. I could have waited more days and saved another fiver, but I've no discipline! add in a pound for the which trial so 140 total.

It's no iphone 7 plus that I really wanted but it's also 1/5 the price. The change over from iPhone will not come easy, but I'll probably be keeping my 5s as backup.…one

*Note: Only the white model comes as dual sim, which I ended up with accidently as I much prefer the lighter housings.

Update: just going over the specs yet again and the Cheetah really is slicker; a bit smaller and has some better specs and fingerprint reader. The thing that won the day though was the water resistant coating on the G4. Funny a lot of people on amazon when I searched the review compared the G4 to the iphone 6 says it's barely any bigger but the screen is much bigger. That same comparison for the 6 to the Cheetah even more so. I have a feeling there may be a cubot in the futre for me too.
I'll see how this G4 goes.
