'notch screen, trendy design'

The notch is not trendy, get it through the phone designers heads, it's bloody awful, plus I've voted hot, and i feel awful, oh Sam, please make your next post a poor one, I beg of you, please 🙏
Last cubot I had, it came with malware built in.

Cold . No band 20

Think it does: 4G: FDD B1/3/7/8/20
49p over the minimum threshold to have merchant obligations optionally serviced in UK. Winning.
Don't think it has a Gyroscope built in, and may be hit with customs charges?

However I will be tilted towards a Xiaomi phone at this price. That will have better support and upgrades.

That's why original post mentioned the word "optionally". 6m of buyer-unenforceable PayPal protection, or optionally 12m of replicated merchant obligations serviced and legally enforceable locally.

But paypal saved my ass so many times and refunded. But credit card companies in uk are never willing to do chargeback from fraudulent sellers and refund money unless I take them to actual court.

Have you contacted the credit card company to get your money back? what did they ask you to do? or did they just refund the money without issues?

After having supplied credit card co with succint but detailed reasoning for claim (inc the S75 obligation refs) the ccc sent a multipage form for me to complete. F that. I responded with the same succinct detailed reasoning but no response from ccc. So sent ccc a 7day LBA. No response. Issued MCOL after the 7days. CCC contacted me immediately offering full refund, covered MCOL fee and told me to dispose of the busted kit as I felt fit. Shifted it on Gumtree as busted for about £30. At no time did I even bother contact the original far east merchant.

Bet you wished you’d typed it all in full now

Good explanation though, this is similar to what I’ve had to do with Small Claims but not done it against a credit card company before. Currently got CPW on-the-go, their defence is pretty amazing, they are claiming that my phone has faulty software (which they diagnosed) and therefore falls under the Digital Content aspect of Consumer Rights Act 2015 so only 30 days warranty - I cannot wait for that to go in front of a judge!
Not the worst but not a very high Antutu score for the CPU in the region of 48000
does anyone know what type of glass is used for the screen?

Really? I had to pay extra for mine
Normally I don't bother voting for Chinese phones to order from China, but this one deserves a bit of heat I think.
No NFC as usual in these cheap phones. I'm so used to using it for contactless payments including Oyster that it is a deal breaker these days to not have that.
Similar looks sure but it's nowhere near a iphone you pay for what you get and the quality of this device doesn't come anywhere close to a iphone.
Watch out when ordering from Gearbest. I bought an Elephone from them and it was great but then stopped working completely after six months. I had to send it back to them at which point they said it’d take two months to fix.

Then two months later they sent it to me with a big scratch on the side of the phone and a couple of other chips to the paint. I complained and they offered me ten dollars of store credit. I told them that wasn’t any use to me so they offered 20. I said thanks but no thanks and promise to nevertheless use them again.

Bought a decent Motorola from Amazon and never looked back.
Buy a A2 lite 3gb from eglobal use Quidco or TCB to bring the price down to around 127.50 delivered no custom charges ,faster CPU ,better brand ,androidone etc ,slimmer too .

Had two cubots poor cameras good specs but no personality would not buy again malware has been a problem in the past
Please be aware that the promotional image above is a complete lie. It actually has a huge chin at the bottom.

That alone should be enough reason to avoid that site. Because if they're lying about the design then what else are they lying about?
