Why do you think this is a better phone? I'm no expert but the specs look good on the Cubot, just never heard of the brand..
bit fat at almost 11mm thick

and no NFC
Cracking phone specs, battery life will be amazing if they haven't pulled a Umidigi!!
Got a Cubot few years back, lasted 19 days before a component in the screen burned out in front of my eyes.. never never again!

Redmi note 8 is a great phone!

You can get the note 8T on contract from three for £19 a month if you wanted one on contract!
I wouldn't trust this brand. They were selling phones laden with malware. Granted it was a couple of years ago, but I'd take a similarly priced Xiaomi over a cubit any day.

I bought my daughter this for Christmas after it was posted on HUKD in the Amazon black Friday deals. The votes were hot as were the reviews. When it arrived it was huge compared to my phone samsung s9 and really heavy. However it's not that much bigger than the Huawei phone it was replacing. She's not happy with the camera but everything else is really good the battery life is excellent. I don't know if it's the settings or what tho as the camera spec is good and has excellent reviews but her photos are not very sharp quite grainy. Maybe it has a fault? When she comes home tomorrow we're going to have another look before contacting the seller on Amazon for help. Ive not voted hot or cold as I'm undecided yet. It depends on the camera issue being resolved or not. Just thought I'd share our recent experience with this phone.

I don't have this phone... I have resisted temptation to buy these chinese phones and instead keep getting old flagships etc lg g5 2nd hand and replacing battery.

I know some people have talked about turning a pocaphone f1 into a pixel by installing google camera software. I don't know anything about it but suggests there is some software magic potentially you can improve things even if hardware might also be weak.

Tbf the pocaphone is made by Xiaomi who may be Chinese, but they're in a different league to all the other Chinese brands.

I stopped buying other Chinese brands years ago, and now only buy Xiaomi phones. They're amazing, although not without their issues like all phones.

The Pocaphone is an amazing phone and I highly recommend you purchase it, but then that's just the opinion of me. Some random guy on the internet
