This has MT6761, Quad-Core, PowerVR GE8300 GPU - from the Cubot website
and 3GB RAM.

All I can find so far is this: Anyone who owns an Android device, whether it be a phone, tablet, or even a Chromebook, will be able to play Mario Kart Tour as long as the device is running KitKat 4.4 or later. We do recommend that you play on a phone or tablet rather than your Chromebook, since it isn't as good of an experience. Additionally, the Mario Kart Tour website suggests that you use a device with 1.5GB of RAM or more.

Oops
Stay clear of Cubot. I had a rainbow 2 that had inbuilt malware that popped up a month after switching it on. Sending data back to China. The deal was on here about two years ago. They put their hands up and admitted it and said they wouldn't continue putting the malware in the OS but they didn't stop. Trust me there is reason the phone experts on this site don't post Cubot deals

Plenty of respected HUKDers have posted Deals about this brand. I'm not afraid to Expire a Deal if there are issues.

Edit: From reading the thread you've posted, hard to tell what's going on. Cubot haven't deleted people's concerns from their forums and have issued Firmware Updates (which can only be good) but it's hard to say whether they're aware/providing malware maliciously or if it's third-party vendors supplying dodgy ROMs.

Can't see anyone talking about malware and this specific phone.

Didn't for me. Tried everything, all the malware removers but it kept coming back as it was built into the firmware. Once burnt, twice shy I'm afraid. There wasn't a custom ROM available or lineage. The stock ROM contained the malware. Wasted money as it couldn't be fixed.
Mine was from a Chinese FBA like this deal. Amazon refunded me in the end and acknowledged the malware couldn't be removed

The draw back is its quad-core where most phones are now are becoming Octa-core even my samsung galaxy s6 which is 4-5yrs old is Octa-core and its still going strong.
Though I may be mistaken, I think some people are mixing up the models, this is the "pro" version with 4G and other significant differences
I think this is this phone:

Think you're referring to the fact the ordinary R15 doesn't have 4G. There was a Deal posted about it a day or two after I did one about the Pro. It is a bit odd nowadays, even for a budget phone.

If you are happy to have ads appear on your home screen, I wasn't as I bought it for one of my children. The risk that if you use any secure Apps like banking or anything with personal information will be shared with a dodgy Chinese company was to much for me.
As a phone it worked okay and calls were crisp and clear. Just make sure you don't use mobile data or WiFi to send your data to China

If I bought a phone that had malware on it I wouldn't be happy. It's a common thing that happens/happened with third-party ROMs but I don't have much knowledge, nor any experience, of Cubot. You're justified in being negative about the company.

But alleging that a phone model you've never used nor has any online discussions about it having malware is dodgy, is jumping the gun a bit.

I'll come back on here if I find any further information that's relevant or useful.
I can't reply to your comments as I muted you at some point. I can't remember why. I was looking for a new phone for myself as I'm going to donatey Xiaomi note 5 to my mother soon as her WP10 Lumia is losing WhatsApp in a few days. I miss NFC and was looking for a Chinese with NFC.
Seriously the grief I had with the Cubot was unbelievable and came to the conclusion that these were subsidised by the malware company to shift them quickly to unsavvy buyers in the west.

Shouldn`t be sending sensitive data on any device without encrypting or at least tunneling through a VPN though should you?

I Used a cubot device long enough as a crypto wallet without a single issue, so BOOM goes the Cubot devices are not secure theory. The only reason i replaced it was as said before "the speaker packed up".
There are a large number of chinese manufacturers both established and up and coming that are producing perfectly good products at prices that acommodate the masses. However the scaremongers cause the general public to be overly cautious resulting in them paying over the odds for lesser products and a badge. If there`s malware embedded in the hardware then that`s easy enough to determine and perfectly good reason to return the device for a full refund, depending on where it was purchased from.

So are you saying that my experience with Cubot is untrue. (I'm on my Xiaomi note 5 ATM) and I shouldn't warn prospective buyers of this deal that Chinese firms are reading all your activity and passwords. You can opt out on Google, Microsoft etc but you don't have a choice when it's embedded in the manipulated OS like Cubots
Nope, what i`m saying is I think you need to lay off the apples if that`s how you interpreted that.

What was that click ?

Nothing to worry about it`s just the mute button.

I looked into the specs a bit further on their official site and a few others and it appears it is missing quite a few 4g, 3g and 2g bands, which means it may not even work with your operator/area, not trying to argue, just trying my best to inform what I've found, this is honestly the only thing stopping me from snapping up this deal

I have a Huawei Mate 20X so I don't have this phone - the Cubot website says this39444831-shRjT.jpgbut the Amazon phone says it is the "UK Version". Q&As suggest this works with 4G bands (though it's probably people confused between the Cubot R15 and the R15 Pro). I can't offer any more info than what's out there. Nothing mentioned in reviews, either.

Thanks for the heads up, saw the reviews for the pro and one was saying he didn't have internet connection/4G and mobile signal while at home/in his area but at the city near him he was fine, this seems like a provider/area/band kind of factored issue, could be any of them, but seeing as the phone was mentioned as not having signal there, I assume he previously had signal, so it is probably one of the missing bands, but no way to know for sure and no way to know which provider either, I'm just not sure I should chance it and risk wasting £70 on a phone that I'll never use my sim in, will keep looking though, thanks for the heads up

Can't see it on Amazon reviews - where did you read that? I think if it was an issue it would have cropped up on there by now, but some think the reviews are a bit spammy. Really hard to say as this phone is reasonably new and finding Feedback about it (never mind Youtube reviews) at the moment is a bit of a challenge.

xda doesn't even have a section about this phone - Google tends to come up with the OPPO R15 Pro.
Only Green left now

Please update if there are any network issues, I really can't see much feedback about this model of phone at all, at the moment!
I'm thinking about dirt cheap android 5" screen though , literally for a teleprompter app only. Anything out there sub 30/40?
Expired, just realised all colours are OOS.

Edit: Actually, un-Expired, more of the Green colour has appeared.
