Sounds good, but I've read horror stories of people receiving empty boxes through the post. Might not be unique to this vendor, but it's enough to put me off.
Ok. So I’m hoping to have my mind changed here, but u have in my head that Chinese phones are a no go due to security risks. Hoping someone proves me wrong here cos they have some awesome looking phones tbh.

Cubot have had issues with malware in the past. I'd stick to Xiaomi personally.
Dodgy brand, cheap for a reason. Main problem is spyware baked into the firmware.

Tbh I avoid all Chinese phones at the moment, seems too risky when there’s alternatives. Is Xiaomi safe? How about Huawei? Just seems like there’s no line between government and industry over there. But xiaomi does have some awesome looking phones.

The difference is that Xiaomi are nothing to do with the Chinese government, unlike Huawei. Equally, the Android One devices are developed closely with Vodafone.
I Duno tbh. Went down a rabbit hole the last hour researching this and it’s just reinforced my original opinion that Chinese phones are just too risky. It’s a different culture over there and the government has control of every company.
Just saying, for me, not worth it

Install NoRoot Firewall on your UK phone and you maybe surprised at the amount of data going out to suspicious servers. With these Chinese phones, as long as you can wipe the OS and install LineageOS they're a good buy (I don't this the Cubit X20 Pro supports Lineage yet).
