If only

COLD. £14.99 at Wickes or two for £22.00. Even when B & Q have offers they are still dearer than the competition.

Smartguy1 . . . The Wickes deal is for 5L and B&Q is for 9L making their price per litre cheaper.

Nice try though.

Just been thinking about the 9l compared to the 5l. Last year I bought a 10l Crown emulsion as the 5l tin, also Crown, I was using for the bedroom was not going to be enough. The 10l was on offer but I can tell you there was a massive difference in the thickness of the two tins with the 10l taking nearly as twice as many coats as the 5l and you could see the 5l was thicker. That's the last time I buy large tubs of anything on offer from B & Q. Sometimes you get a bargain and sometimes you get what you pay for. I used the Ducksback so it would be interesting to compare one of these 9l specials from B & Q to the 5l tin I bought from Wickes.
