Usage guide

Apply:
Stir thoroughly before use. Try a test area first to ensure that colour and adhesion are acceptable. Apply 2-3 coats evenly along the grain, avoiding overlaps. Allow 2-4 hours between coats under normal weather conditions. This product is wax enriched to repel water. Recoat within 2-3 days of previous coat. If a longer period elapses try a flat a test area to ensure product is not repelled. Product should only be used on rough sawn timber. Do not apply in temperatures below 5 degrees C, in damp conditions or if rain is likely before the product has dried. Please note that the colour in the tub may be different to the final shade when dry. Where a strong colour change is involved, more coats may be required. If using more than one can it is advisable to mix them together in a larger container or finish painting in a corner before starting a new can.

Dry:
Drying time is 2-4 hours (showerproof in just 1 hour). Drying times can vary depending on the nature of the surface and the weather conditions.

Clean:
After use, remove as much product as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning with water. Store in dry conditions and protect from frost.

Great price but avoid the Autumn Gold colour as it's orange when applied and doesn't change when it dries out.

Good price for this product and doesn't wash off in the rain like the cheap stuff the supermarkets sell.

Heat. Been on the lookout for this so nice one OP

Hot price, branded 5 litre stains are £5 for 5l. But they need re applying yearly usually. Anything more water repellent is worth it in my books.
Currently using the £20 for 5l woostain stuff with varnish's in to stop having to apply every year or two. The stuff made for exterior doors. That's on my fence. Hope its better.

Iv been using the silver copse this week so bought it at a few prices but this is the best

Homebase is £10 for 5L and £17 for 10L
Screw-fix was £14 for 10L ( no stock now though in my local)

Goes on well and water just beads off in the rain

My Tesco had it for £5 too , great paint bargain

Did it seem like a national deal, and how was the stock? I'm only really interested in buying 3 of a specific colour

This is a national deal, I imagine there will be plenty of stock. It's also a standard shelf item for B&Q so if they don't have any in, I'm sure you'd be able to get them to order in some more.

Well I popped into B&Q and they had quite a lot on sale, noticed certain colours only had a couple tins left though.

Bought 4 tins of Rich Cedar and slapped it onto a small area to test, currently looks like spray tan orange but hopefully it improves after some time

Are you sure it was Cuprinol Ducksback?

My local store had Cuprinol Less Mess fence care paint @£5 and it's the same online. The can looks almost the same as the Ducksback but it's not the same thing.

I was going to say the same thing. I saw the less mess stuff for £5 in my Tesco the other day. Either way, £7 for Ducks back is a good deal.
