Good price for this paint if you need some for upcoming spring projects. 5L containers only.

They have the following colours here at Argos:
Oak
Silver Copse
Autumn Gold
Forest Green

It's pretty good paint but requires 2 coats on fresh wood. I'm actually after Autumn Brown colour but few places seem to stock it let alone have it on offer.

Can this be used on outdoor wooden furniture?

PS Autumn Gold is the only one in stock in my local.

The irony.

We have used this for years on our back fence which is exposed to the sea and it's excellent - recommended
Thanks shall check to see if they have any in stock near me (hopefully) - but if not just want to say it's very good!

Just checked, none anywhere in N.Ireland - ah well!

It's not very good on smooth planed wood as it doesn't adhere as much as rough cut wood and it's not a stain in the sense that it soaks deep into the wood. Also in high use areas I'd say it would wear off.

I've used this for years in my garden and love it. However having recommended it to a friend for some old fences then she has experienced it coming off on patches on her side fences but perfect on the bottom fence. At a loss to why this would be although they are different fences and probably installed at different times. She did get given more of it to repaint it but it just happens again.

Same experience here. I painted my shed and some fences in it a couple of years ago and it looked great... for a couple of months, then it started coming off.

Re-painted this year, this time applied a few more coats, and same thing.

No idea where they get 5 years from because in the weather here it won't even last 1. Shame, as the finish is great when it's first put on.

Did you jet wash your fences first or were they new?

I think this stuff is also available in Costco

Homebase seemed to have all colours in stock, I bought Autumn Brown and it was £10 for 5l tins.

One new fence panel, one new shed, two old fence panels. Doesn't seem to make much difference either way, they've all worn off in patches.

Not sure if I can return to just using normal garden stain/paint, e.g. Cuprinol Garden Shades or Sadolin, as this coating is effectively a waterproof skin (where it still sticks).

Ahh well, just keep re-coating I guess. Nice finish when it's fresh on
