loads in Cumbernauld branch tonight :-)

Thanks for your deal. I've updated the deal for you

Perfect! Just what I was looking for! Many thanks OP! Heat given.

Please note that more than woodland green's on offer - just click on the 'special offer' bar on the website.

can you use this om garden furniture?

Nice price but naff colour. Can imagine after painting the fence it looks like green mould colour. Might as well left it to nature to colour it.

Thanks. Green no good for me but I went on the website and they have other colours also on at £5 so I got "rich oak" for the deal price.

Good price, heat added. Already posted other day as stated though.

I say this on every thread but why don't they ever have Black on offer

Anyone know if this paint any good? I see the ducksback cuprinol stuff says it last "5 years" no mention of how long on this one.... so I assume it won't last would rather pay double for one if it lasts a bit longer, even though I doubt 5 years!

Thanks for posting, wasn't aware of the other thread.

Ordered 6 tins of Autumn red. Hopefully, that should be enough to cover 20 fence panels with two coats.

Thanks OP. Ordered 6 x tins of Autumn Gold.

was some left in leyton Tesco extra if anyone is interested. all colours

I used the stuff from Home Bargains last year and on a couple of fence panels it has started flaking off and one of the other fence panels has started going green.

Not sure whether the paint is to blame or it is just that the fence panels are old.

Most of this stuff is rubbish these days - good ol' creosote was the Dogs Doodas (coal-tar, now banned). Just give it a good dose of diesel sept/oct to kill off the fungi and boring critters, soaks in nicely - much better than lining the pockets of these modern day charlatens.

Exactly. For the brown paint (thats almost all it is) the Ronseal is just as good as this for less.
Plus the benefit of knowing you don't have to go to Tesco.

For problem / really curing wood like you say I've just given it a dose of 2nd hand oil (gearbox before you ask). All this stuff is is just a thin coat for the wood more cosmetic than anything.

Like I said cos of the above not really a bargain, unless you really love Tesco or work there (sorry neither for me).

Is there a creosote equivalent out there because I keep smelling similar from gardens?

Bought the Rustic Brown today, had quite a few in.

yeah this water based stuff is really useless you need to get some proper old school solvent based stuff if you want something that actually works.

Quite a lot left in Bracknell. I bought all the Autumn Golds.

Used this, but it didn't seem that great once it dried. Also gave me a sore throat.

I got it from B&M instead of link provided. Just that was first one search brought back.

These r good for the price but pliz note they r not water repellent. Caprinol Ducksback n Wilko Wax Enriched range fence care are but dearer but water repellent n good quality.

just bought 2x 5l tesco bishops stortford £2.50 each
