I'm certainly no Seinfeld fan but this programme is amazing. No debate necessary, you either love this show or you just don't get it

I've been looking to pick up the complete set for a while and this is certainly the best price i've seen. The closest I've found is £53.99 at ChoicesUK with the 10% discount code at the moment.

You are wrong According to our friend Wiki:
The second and final series][1] started production in April 2006, and will air weekly starting 13 February, 2007, at 9 PM.][2]

Hey, hands off my Larry David thread!:p

Sorry :giggle: Now I'm hijacking threads lol

Thanks MBeeching, pretty good price!

Thanks - didn't realise it'd been around so long.
I only discovered it recently and really struggled to get through a few episodes, he's such a biggoted selfish moron with no redeeming features at all - however I'm hooked now and can't wait to see more of his puzzled look at the response of normal people to his dreadfull behaviour.
He's on back to back on More4 at 12:10 (sunday).

Oh, I could not disagree more. The beauty of it is that for the most part Larry has a point, its just that he doesn't know how to react properly. For the most part he seems entirely rational and logical - rather its some of the people around who act unreasonably. Jeffs parents would be a classic example of this - Larry has nothing but good intentions and sentiments, yet they are odious (especially around the "he touched my breast" incident).

Yes, sometimes he puts himself first, but at times a touch of rugged individualism can be a great thing. I think the shows popularity lies with the fact that an awful lot of people can emphathise with him, and imagine themselves in a similar position - who really likes waiting in the pharmacy? but then who would attempt to bribe the pharmacist?

The common enemy is the so-called 'normal people' - those who think too conventionally, and are unable to express their true feelings due to the norms that civil society has places upon them.
