Current List of Free to Play Games for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PSVR and Nintendo Switch

I finally purchased a PSVR yesterday (talk about ill) and was searching the PlayStation Store for a bit of content to play on (RE7 was just too much for me), having a bit of a think I thought it might be nice to get all the current free to play titles into a thread. I'm adding Metacritic scores to each of the titles for a bit of reference.

I've tried to avoid demos where possible but it was a bit difficult for the PSVR section.

I appreciate some of this may be old news to most people, but as mentioned thought it would be helpful to get them all listed

If anybody knows of any that need adding to any section, please do let me know (especially for the Nintendo Switch)

Cold, no prices included. Oh wait...
Switch
Now, are any of them worth the drive space? (Serious question) that’s more valuable than money to me!

Heat added!

There's a free Stranger Things experience for the PSVR, pretty terrible though.

I may have to add the 'free to start' catalogue just to bulk it out a little

You buy a PSVR, and yet have time to create a list like this?

The PSVR is that good?

Thank you, I've added it in.

Managed about 30 minutes
To Buzz. Plenty of good VR games that won't make you sick. I Expect You to Die is one of my favourites, and Headmaster.
Fortnite gets a bunch of crap, and I'm sick of seeing awful Fortnite videos on Facebook and YouTube...

However for a free game, it's excellent
Battlezone VR (& non VR from tomorrow) is very good Buzz, give it a go. There is a demo on one of the demo disks.
Wipeout VR demo is on the way, no release day as yet. Wipeout VR is one of the best VR games out there, imo.

Oh and get back to RE7, it is great in VR.
Can’t help but think, as cool as “free” sounds. Free games tend be based around Micro-transactions, which completely ruins any potential for a decent game for me.
No Vita, PS3, Atari Lynx, or ....! Have some heat for effort though Buzz.

I just felt so ill, Andy I enjoyed the London Heist and I've been advised to take it slowly and build my VR legs up gradually. I'm going to pick up Skyrim VR and GT Sport today and see if those are any better for me.
Thank you for the effort, voted hot.

It has to be said though there's a lot of truly awful free to play games.

I'd recommend gwent though, I love it so so much.

Plus it's available on Xbox play anywhere, pc and PlayStation.

It might also help to show if the games are online multiplayer only. I believe some on them would require a PS+ subscription (or equivalent) to work.
Thanks for this
Hope they add more switch ones!
Can you post free PC games next?
If you have star wars battlefront there’s an extra vr x wing mission
Any co-op type racing games? Real lack of any decent couch-co-op racing games on these consoles
Umm buzz, i dont think stranger things is on Xbox... Just saying
The playroom (non vr version) is also free too if you have the camera for vr. Great for young kids
Thanks Buz..
Buzz go into settings and adjust the eye width of your psvr, this’ll help a bit. Also I’m not going to recommend any games, but I must say you are a Super Hot Hukd contributor
Ok, so could you tell me if you know a good deal for the PSVR headset at the moment please? Or did you just pay the over RRP you pay as always?

Heat added too pal.

Added some PS Vita titles in, will try to get some PS3 in there. Refusing to even entertain Atari Lynx

I bought it on the cheap with some move controllers locally, then realised I actually needed a PS4 so the cost rose

Had I not found that one I'd have gone with the RE7 bundle at Game.
Misread gem of wars, got really excited for a second

Thought you know something with direct link.

Ideally I’m waiting for Argos. That’s where I can get vouchers at 80% face value for. Guess the wait shall continue.
Aren't most free to play games riddled with pay walls and pay to win types stuff?

Skyrim with dualshock is the only game that made me feel a bit funny, it is fine with the Move controllers and is (imo) the only way to play it. So if you haven't got the moves ( :/) then I would hold off on it. Haven't tried GT (or Driveclub VR) but I have Dirt VR, that is jolly good.
Jetpack joyride deluxe ( ps vita ) is NOT free
Heat added for the effort. Thanks.

Ginger buzz honestly people say it works.

Nice work
Are youths still referencing things as great when they say 'well sick'/'ill' ??
Heat added purely for the Switch Gif.
Any differences between the Fortnites?
We got it on PS4, more players on Xbox?
