Jumping on the man vs food bandwagon of deals that have been posted.

Curry Hell is the world's hottest curry and was first introduced by Abdul Latif in 1987. The dish is a combination of chillies, chicken and our very own secret ingredient to help give that extra kick! To give you an idea of how hot the Curry Hell dish is, Vindaloo tastes like ice cream in comparison and chef Gordon Ramsey as declared it as the hottest curry he's ever tasted. If YOU manage to eat Curry Hell, you get it for free and receive a signed certificate. Your picture will be taken by the management in recognition of your spectacular achievement, and it will also be displayed on the Rupali website.

I myself have completed the curry hell challenge.

FRIENDLY WARNING
If you become ill due to the consumption of Curry Hell, or if you find that you are experiencing any problems with your lover(s), you are under no circumstances entitled to blame the Rupali or any member of its staff.

If you die whilst eating, or as a direct result of eating the curry, your next of kin will incur the cost of your meal.

A full portion of Curry Hell costs £9.95

A half portion is £5.95, as a taster only, and does not qualify as the Curry Hell Challenge.

Not worth braving the Bigg Market for.

Sorry.

Good lad.... congrats!

They did this in Edinburgh last year and people had to go to hospital

Well done. I had two mouthfulls of this and ended up with tears streaming down my face and a mouth like the devils ar##shole.

The place is not the same though since the old owner, the Lord of Harpole died. He was a character and a half!!!

This will go well with those Andrex bog rolls.

I like a hot curry as much as the next man, probably more so, but I draw the line at curry masochism.

bet it tastes phall!

Give me a Chicken Tikka Massala anyday.

Heat added (to your curry)

Congrats on completing the challenge by the way !

I love a really really hot curry and can always finish it...

However a spoonful of this finished me off.....

I like the disclaimer

Not quite sure how this falls into the category of a 'deal'.

I rather suspect that the OP has slightly misinterpreted the meaning of 'HOT' in HUKD......

Jumping on the bandwagon of all the man vs food deals. Such as the 57kg Steak and Kidz Breakfast

Alan Carr didn't need to finish it.... I bet his ring already stings

This has been going since I met my wife, and we had a curry in this very restaraunt - this deal has been going since the mid 70s.

I have it on good authority that he's a top.

I've tasted this... HOT!!!

I want to try this lol....

Do they deliver. I fancy trying a half portion. The OH says I should stick with my chilli flavoured crisps though.

You need to be ready for a seriously hot meal - if you've had Ghost/Bhut Jolokia Chilli Sauce before, if you can try Dave's Insanity Sauce (a decent amount - not a drop) and not have an asthma attack - then you might get through a few spoonfulls.

To eat it all requires something else altogether tho - a mate of mine eats Phal Curries regularly and he only managed 3 spoonfulls before going pale and saying he had to head for the loo, where he remained for 20 mins before returning and telling us he was going home!!

Some people seem 'built' to deal with this level of heat (a girl I know who eats raw chillis as snacks, for example!!) but for more people it would just make you sick - and may even cause harm!!

Wonder if it's as hot as the famous 'Suicide' in the Plaza Cafe, Manchester, back in the 80's and 90's ?

The 'science' behind chillis and their heat as been advancing quite a bit and we now have chillies which are WAY WAY hotter than they were 10-15 years ago.

The hottest chilli in the world was, until recently, grown in the UK too

The science is quite interesting actually

In particular, the fact that Police-grade pepper spray is potentially dangerous and yet they think spraying it into the face of protestors is acceptable!?!?

Mate of mine finished this two nights running. He has an asbestos mouth, I swear, and claims he didn't think it was all that hot. Should have sign the guys face when we returned the next night and my mate orders it again, haha.

Oh well, the RVI Hospital is nearby, so any toxic shock could be dealt with pretty swiftly:p

I'm curry mad, my local has to make a special dish for me based on a chicken Tikka Naga Phaal but with 10 additional dorset nagas. Is this likely to be hotter?

LOL I need to get off here, my sides are splitting.

I must be a miserable killjoy, but I don't like the idea of all these man vs food deals. Something about the deliberate waste of food; a huge percentage of this stuff must go unfinished, or there'd just be no margin in offering the 'bets' to paying customers.
