Tastes like 4p curry.

to be fair, after a boozy night out, people eat all sorts of junk! so whats a bit of cheap ole curry compared to a greasy kebab

I am pretty much a food snob however I bought this out of curiosity and it was actually ok. Tasted like chip chop curry sauce a little nicer if Im honest. I keep a jar in for when we go to the chippy cheaper and yummier

Lol i love this curry hot from me but its normally around this price also in tescos their brand obviously

It's actually not too bad... I quite like it lol

we love it ive got 10 jars in the cubard from when it was 2p last year

What ingredients are in it? I guess as it is asda own brand it should be fairly clean of cruddy fats etc?

I lol'ed the 4th most prominent ingredient is sugar, as it is in most jars, diabetes type 2 anyone? It never fails to amaze me the basic lack of knowledge some people have, and I don't mean that in a nasty way.
I imagine for that price it's quite rank, but I don't know so not voted.

Hell would freeze over before I gave it to my kids, high sugar content and stacks of preservatives.

Yes, but as with anything moderation is the key. I mean, who is gonna quaff a jar of this everyday?! I'd agree that if you feast exclusively on jarred food then you are not doing yourself any favours.

It's full of sugar, therefore this comment was quite funny................. hidden sugars in diets, biggest cause of adult onest diabetes

Like a babys nappie............vile stuff......well do you expect for 4p

Is it not this curry sauce that someone found a dead mouse in a few weeks ago?

thesun.co.uk/sol…tml

I don`t think less than 5% sugar is really that bad in this sauce. I`ts not like you`re going to have tis everyday.

Fantastic price for a jar.....

I think you are quoting me out of context for your own comedic outcome. I simply stated that if you use a jar of this every now and again it is hardly gonna kill you. If however the rest of your diet is questionable then I'd be the first to agree with your comments regarding diabetes.

There's a reason why it's 4p stay away from this stuff

I think someone in the pricing department is having fun with this one. About a year ago it used to be 9p. Then last month i spotted it at 7p (I was purely interested for the jar, as someone mentioned). Perhaps they're using it to fiddle some sales figures ("prices halved on XX products!!!").

It's basically watered-down tomato paste... I didn't eat it, but the contents got the thumbs down in our household.

No, that's the "Extra Special" sauce, with a little 'extra' in it ;-)

Perhaps someone can compare the printing of the batch codes, to guess whether they're made in the same factory?

Nope - that was a £1.49 Tikka Masala jar.

Not really that comment was pretty funny considering the sauce is mostly sugar
It's a great price for some, and some will love it, but a reasonable list of ingredients it's not, but then for 4p it's what your going to get.

It's between 3% and 5% sugar. How can you say it's mostly sugar? I don't understand.

Is this for animals? How can you eat such low quality cr*p?

This is getting better than a chicken thread:whistling:
