The Pavilion 15-p077sa comes pre-installed with the expressive Windows 8 operating system. Packed full of intuitive apps, it gives you the information that's important to you as soon as you need it.

The Start screen is based around Live Tiles. These program icons display real time information from all your favourite apps including social networking, emails, news and sports directly on the home screen. You don't even have to open the program to receive important info and notifications.

There are improvements coming to Windows 8 with the launch of the free 8.1 update. These include the re-introduction of the Start button, new Live Tile sizes and adjustable four-way multitasking windows along with developments to the lock screen, search and more.

Intel® Core™ processing

You can expect dependable, efficient computing thanks to the Pavilion 15's Intel® Core™ i3-4030U Processor that features Multithreading technology.

This emulates the multitasking ability of a quad-core processor without sacrificing power consumption for quick computing throughout your everyday tasks, whether you're plugged into the mains or not.

A generous 8 GB of RAM takes care of multitasking, so you can work on several documents at once or download, chat and browse simultaneously without worry.

Any better deals on spec for this price?

Got one yesterday. None on display in store. You have to ask. Also £30 off with O2 priority moments. Great spec for price

Just ordered mine. Not sure why it's voted cold.

Similar spec i3 dell was going last week for £250 (back to £299 now) and there is also a grade a acer i5 4th gen at currys for only £289

I know we dont have a time machine but the i5 hp pavilion grade a was only £264 at currys last week.

same processor, just less ram.......but at over £100 cheaper that's easily sorted.

I still think the op's deal is not bad, was just giving ideas as to why the cold votes.
