We got given a Pure DAB radio as a present once, it found like about 4 stations when we tuned it in, sent it back saying it was duff and replaced with a Philips one, granted it only found about 21 so we must live in a bad signal area, but proved it had a better receiver than the Pure one. Alas of all the 21 it did find, I liked 1...Absolute 80's whilst cooking FTW!

I got about 100 but also only listen to absolute 80s!

I bought this as a refurbished model from ebay (same price on Amazon with the same seller - £17.99 and free delivery) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371723500756

However it's going back today as it's died after a few hours use.
Apart from that, it's a real pain to tune in the channels thanks to a stupid system, and the yellow display is always on. Means it would be no use as an alarm clock as the display is like a torch. I don't like the fact it's always using electricity if it's plugged in. To switch it off means pulling out the mains wire at the back as it's got no on/off button.

Finally the sound isn't the best I thought, quite tinny.
