Right... but this tv was around £1300 mark before, so £1500 doesn't sound like a good price at the time when most manufacturers starting release new models, thats all...
Don't forget £70 cashback

But JL (5 year warranty) and RS (6 year warranty) will price match on this one.

You're right. But I think this is still a very good price for this telly. Maybe not a scorching hot deal. But a very good one.
Why bother price matching when this includes a 5 year warranty and you can get £70 cash back? Lots of talk on AV Forums of Curry’s warranty actually being better than JL these days.

Also 18 months interest free with Currys.

My goodness susanna Reid in freeview HD must look amazing on this tv

That's an amazing price, why would you do this to me?!
Too expensive for a soon to be redundant model...needs to be much nearly thr grand mark for any value...

Freeview HD looks amazing on my C6 so should be even better on this. Those deep blues on the Sunday MOTD are what LCD owners could only dream of.
JL price match confirmed, but the Currys £70 cashback seems a better deal.

Might use the price match to lock the price for 4 weeks and hope it drops to £1350 somewhere in the meantime.
Some large companies have reward schemes where you can buy instore gift cards. They typically give you a discount or points on it... Worth checking it out if you are lucky enough to work for one. Eg mine gives me 8% off. Eg top up £1500, pay £1380.

Then buy via a cashback site and pay in-store with your prepaid card. You get a double benefit as cashback is on £1499 but you've paid £1380. I got a £280 tablet for £240 ish using this trick recently.

The release date originally stated by LG was June for the B8. The C8 was meant to be out this month!

Suzi ain't gonna be happy........
Lol cheers
I just picked up the 55c7v from richer sounds last week on clearance for £1350, it was up for £1499 and got an email for RS vip members which had a 10% off all clearance items in store and online voucher so they reluctantly sold it, I’m over the moon as really wanted one at that price with the 6 year guarantee. I had tried a couple of days earlier to get them to sell it to me for £1350 as I was buying a soundbar at the time and I said they’ve gone for that before on Black Friday etc but they said that LG helped with those sales/deals and that they won’t ever go back down to those prices on general sale. Who knows though!
Hughes have also price matched (5 yr guarantee) but they will also throw in a £100 cashback if upgrading to skyq (not sure of the costs there but I will upgrade for the 4k content I'm sure) at the same time. Fyi they also have a 55c8 price (obviously oos) at £2999.
Our local Currys has an ex display Sony 65” A1 on for £2,500. TV looked incredible and JL price matched on local store policy but it’s such a large amount for a tv!
Thought this would shift downwards sooner rather than later when it hit £1350 but i guess the delay on the new model has kept this at a decent price. I'd hold off at this price as i think it'll be back there at least by June.

Got mine yesterday from Currys. 1499 + SJ800 soundbar + T8 soundbar adapter (all for £249) + 5 year extra currys warranty £190. Managed to get a further £100 discount on top of this.
Dropped by £10 to £1489
