No free lunch

super hot!

How many copies can you grab lol wonder if it's like argos ;]

What an almighty waste of paper, ink and production. How many of us (and I include myself!) are just going to get our hands on a batch of these to get the codes, never even looking in the catalogue, and chucking the books straight in the bin? I can see that they want to promote the gift guide, but surely they could just have given away little cards or something instore, rather than full colour printed magazines? Maybe they're going to hand them out to one per person rather than a stack at the front door like you get in Boots/Argos?

Taking my Freecycle group owner's hat off, it's a fab deal, and I'm off to grab a handful now.

gotta keep an eye on this......i have a feeling it will not end well!

dont bin them..recycle them.....but i guess the point is u pick one up and they are hoping they entice u with the goods in the book. i like ur idea of only getting one though

Yeah, I meant the recycling bin, but there's a huge amount of energy required to produce and then recycle these, and it's a complete waste. If the deal was in someway related to the contents of the catalogue it would make sense, as at least then you'd have to look through it, but as it is I'm sure loads of people will just grab as many as they can and chuck them.

Sounds like a good deal to me will pick up one of the brochures later

I just hope greedy people don't take the lot before the rest of us can get there!

I live really close so i will pick a load up get the codes then place them back. So they dont go to waste..... then secretly laugh to myself thinking about all the people going home and entering the codes for them to see that it already been claimed... i'm kidding i'm not gonna do this or am I

Thanks, picked up 20 guides for ebay

I did not know what it meant either...And when you dont know something you can either (a) ask, or (b) try and find the answer yourself. I put the words in google an MSE appeared about 4 down. I gave you the link to save you having to click on google. Try being proactive, not overly sensitive

ooo thanks!

If you look at the web page, you need to put your address in before you can reveal what you've won. As its one per household I'd imagine its only worth taking as many brochures as addresses you can use.

dont you just hate it when people say try googling it, waste of energy

It is quicker to google than to post the question and wait for the answer.

And as this is your first post..."dont you just hate it when people lurk then register to spout rubbish".
If you were a lurker who believed in asking questions then by your nature you would not be a lurker as you would be unable to ask.
If you are not a lurker then you are a member who registered under a new generic username (not much more generic than Fred123) just to back another user up P)

Anybody fancy sharing a code? I want to buy a TV today but don't want to go to Curry's pick up a mag, come home, get the code and then go back.

I'll return the favour later when I pick up a mag

Cheers
